Geez you take this if you were a dockers fan after that first quarter and a half.

15 points down and they are acting like they are 15 points up, the Dogs are going with their heads down. Wow!

This games over-- There $10 on offer if you don't believe its over.

Ok.

15 points down at half time to a side who shouldn't have finished 10th, let alone 8th, is an insipid way to start your first final in 7 years.

That’s a soft free to Walters.

Turned the game.

Well well well the $10 on live betting is now $2.50

Good fight back but gee they had been poor up to the 20 min mark of the second.

Go Dockers

Why is Wayne Carey still a thing? I vote no.

Got my vote

What a turn around.

Cannot let up in finals.

Doggies had 4 or 5 entries into their forward 50 with no result. They were coasting, then in the 4 minutes prior to the end of the quarter.

Counter attacks, Dog's not scoring from the entries and the momentum.

WOW

That's exactly it. Thankyou. I've been wondering who he reminded me of for years.

I don’t want that gutless 209 cm  weakling at Melbourne( Lobb)

Interestingly they just showed McRae speaking at his press conference on fox footy & he wasn't impressed with how a few players lay on the ground after the siren. Said they lost the game but the players aren't losers. Said if it was a gf then he'd understand but they need to look like winners

2 weeks in a row going to miss the game.. this time will be 40000 ft in the air the entire game.  What shizen.

Sorry mate. Happened to me in 2002 for the Crows game, not cool.

Cannot see either of these teams worrying the Pies next sat night.

The Dogs drank the bathwater with five to go, weak willed lack the ruthlessness.

I thought Freo weren't going to score in the first half of a home final.

Both poor.

1950, been down in Drysdale for 12 years , if you lived down this way you would despise the handbaggers as well.

I do hate the handbaggers, just  not as much as the Filth ………. but l loved your comeback!

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
