Potentially it might not be something someone else said, but something he said.

Oh interesting.

Dogga deserved that goal. Been excellent tonight

Viney getting less midfield time with Gus in there but Viney still prominent

As usual, Daniher kicks that first one and then drifts out of the game

DOGGA! you BEAUTY. Now LETS BURY THEM

I’m not mad about Viney coming in very fresh for finals. He’s a caged angry beast.

PETTY! LEGEND

Daisy Pearce is a gem.

Don't take that as gospel though.

It’s weird tho because all the coaches and players went up to him. Seems super unlikely he was the perpetrator if that was the case.

So it wasn't something that nobody said?

Hopefully Nibbler gets a few goals to keep the naysayers quiet

How amazing was that spoil from Petty? Love it.

Hunt providing great run and carry. And getting it deep inside 50

Loving how Rivers has moved the last few weeks.  Clearly hindered by his knee injury for a long time but moving very well now.

How frustrating is Harris Andrews if you were a lions fan?  can be so good but shows no urgency and deadset looks like he deosn't give a stuff sometimes.  zero leadership from him. Adams a big out

Hope it's nothing that would get him suspended

Jackson subbed out. Mustn’t be too bad. Just management I would say. Smart.

Rivers has his agility back, he looks back to his best

The fact he is out there without strapping on his knee is telling

they said on SEN on the way home from the pub, that Petty was in tears, not injury related, but personal reasons.

Anything been said????

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
