What a kick Melksham. Real class

Hitting targets inside 50, Melbourne is this you?

Melksham is the best kick into the 50 we have

Picking up from last week.

And we are off to the races.

Oh.. is Salem injured?

No he didn't feel like playing.

What’s this low penetrating kicking hitting up a leading forward garbage? We should be just throwing it on the boot, bomb it in long and hope for the best.

Foot to the throat boys. The Lion are bottlers

Unbelievable start. Oh how I want to see you all in a qualifying final at the G in a couple of weeks.

Lions [censored] the bed

Gus dominating Neale

loving life!!

Why did we bring Harmes in if he isn’t tagging Neale???

The barracking from the commentary is nauseating. They almost sound sickened at the thought of Melbourne doing well.

Melksham halfway through the first and already the direct set-up for two goals and one other shot.

Quite seriously, if we are getting Premium Grade Melksham for September it changes our premiership prospects.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
