What a mongrel act by Cox. Knees Max in the guts and only gives away a free. Not going for the ball. Just a free? Surely a deliberate , dirty  action like that is a reportable offence? What do others think?

Mason Cox is an entitled disrespectful c***. Gave the Melbourne supporters the middle finger on the way to the bench smiling, thinks he's good it's actually sad.

And that dog act on Max was inexcusable but nothing to report unfortunately, it was just dirty.

To be fair he didn’t give the finger, he waved his arm as if to say “turn it up!” Which was quite funny actually. But agree dog act to knee Max. I really wish our players had brought more heat in response to theirs.

At least a $1500 fine. It was a dog act.

Who does he think he is? Hulk Hogan? 😛

took max for brunch as a means of apology

lifting his knee into the oppo ruck is something he does sort of regularly - it's obviously something he doesn't necessarily intentionally...but it is dirty

he's a 30 year old man who behaves like a teenager

Never paid much attention to him previously, but between him acting like a tool and the pies fans singing that nauseating “USA USA” chant I’ve developed a strong dislike for the bloke.

Oh my bad, I guess I interpreted wrong thanks.

3rd sentence, same they should have gotten right back into them after ganging up on Langdon...

Right? Does he think he has any relevance in the comp? He gets taken in as an American, gets paid a ridiculous amount of money for being  a [censored] player and behaves as if he's something special. He should be humble for being given the opportunity to play AFL.

Now you know why Brodie has cracked it.

Anybody here watch “Veep”?

He might be dirty, but they have looked tougher, stronger and more resilient than us in each of our last 3 meetings. The only way to respond to this stuff, and to their general physical domination of us is to raise the intensity at our end...give back bettet than what we get...

More of a 'The Thick of It' man myself.

As for Mason, he is a total Cox Head.

Mentioned his slagging us off in 2018 on Twitter after getting thumped by the Eagles, his dog act against Max on Friday and him flipping our supporters off running off the ground.

What a gronk.

Both shows created by the same person (Armando Iannuci). You might enjoy it.

Indeed. Loved the 'Death of Stalin' as well.

I saw him at the supermarket last week and was very tempted to ram my trolley into the back of him. I’m not a violent person but he irritates the hell out of me.

He’s far from a household name, but maybe my favourite living satirist.

Hard to get past “I’m Alan Partridge” as my favourite thing he’s done.

It is quite simple. Cox is nothing but an absolute [censored].

It was tempting but I am a law abiding citizen like all of us Demon supporters 😇

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
