I think so too.

Their midfield and forward line is scary

Midfield scary???? like Casper the friendly ghost? NUP NOT ANYWHERE NEAR US

Carlton’s defence is horrible but Sydney’s midfield is playing that poorly it doesn’t matter

Let’s see how they play against our midfield and defence. Something tells me it wound be this easy.

Not impressed by the Swans this season. Way too hot and cold

As bad as the Swans have looked, and Carlton on a roll, it is only 25 points the difference. It doesn't look likely for a Swans win but Longmire is a very good coach.

Buddy with 4 in the second half.
Sydney win

The brown baggers are really feral and entitled.

And all this time I thought the Pies or Tigers mobs were worse!

Sydney accuracy keeping them in it. Another Carlton second half fade out to come hopefully

Im looking forward to jamming it right up the cardboard cut outs round 22

I should not be surprised to see Carlscum make a preliminary final, I would be surprised if they went further this year

Sydney just need to stay close enough on the scoreboard until Carlton fall off a cliff in the last quarter.

As long as the umpires don't intervene we should be fine

Silvagni in the ruck LOL

Sydney aren’t even top 8 quality

32 down in contested footy in a half

that is pathetic!

Sydney defence is a shambles

I'd there was a time to trial Iaaac Heeney whether he can cut it as a midfielder you'd think it would be now.

Getting smashed in the midfield.

I did a couple of years work at the MCG, Blues ferals were without any doubt the worst n the league

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
