Should be a good game tonight. I reckon the return of Toby will ignite the Giants and bring St Kilda back down to earth. The sainters have been getting a bit ahead of themselves

yeah, think this might be a close one

saints

dogs

power

freo

girlong

bears ( pretty unsure about this one )

mfcss

swans

filth

Have picked The Aints tonight, but who knows which way it could go.
If Tobius is involved early GW$ could decide to play

A few 'season defining' games coming up this round.

Geelong and Brisbane with the easy wins coming up is annoying.

Fremantle v Carlton seems the most interesting match of the round, Freo should be too good over there.

i'd like to see the gliders beat the filth, so both can sit down the bottom of the ladder

Tipping that umpire disrespect will kick the most goals this week.

A draw with injuries?

@Sir Why You Little, do you recall an Ess/filth  Anzac Day clash some years ago  when 2 players went down, I think in the first quarter, with serious knee injuries?

Yes i do. One was an Essendrug Ruckman…

Like the Giants tonight. They were pretty competitive for fair chunks of last week.

Saints are being written up as a possible flag winner. GWS massively underperforming.

Pity that Hogan is out. Adds a little more interest to the game. Of course there is Preuss who I don't think I've seen since he played for Casey.

If GWS kick straight (ratio of around 80%) they might surprise.

Hopefully we're not switiching to netflix by half time

Think Saints should get up, they are up and about GWS aren’t.

Dogs, Port, Freo, Lions, us (despite mfcss), Swans & Filth in the battle of the WGAF.

The young ruckman, Flynn, that played for GWS last week was very good. Played better than Preuss ever has. If it was my choice i'd play Flynn again

I remember watching Flynn in his first game. ( Has he been out injured? )

He will be a gun player.

The Giants all walk taller with Toby in the team (no pun intended)  He doesn't drop his head or give up and that sends a message to his team mates.  Plays for keeps.

He's a bit of a product from a bygone era but there is no denying he captures an audience  But can he not cross the line? Does he need that edge to his game in order to be at his best?  In my view, probably

The game should be a good start to the long weekend of footy ... the 4 FTA games should all get a big TV audience

Our game is quickly becoming a standout blockbuster (as long as the crowds are maintained), the ANZAC day game always has a great atmosphere and the Freo/Blues game on Saturday evening might answer a few questions

I’m giving GWS a massive chance. Greene completely changes their side.
I still don’t rate St Kilda.

He will probably give away a few 50 m ps with aggro at umps.

This round always makes me sad about lost loves and proud to be an Australian.

I'm sure we all share sympathy for Ukraine. How much they would like to stop the death and destruction and enjoy a simple game of sports.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
