Should be a good game tonight. I reckon the return of Toby will ignite the Giants and bring St Kilda back down to earth. The sainters have been getting a bit ahead of themselves

yeah, think this might be a close one

A draw with injuries?

@Sir Why You Little, do you recall an Ess/filth  Anzac Day clash some years ago  when 2 players went down, I think in the first quarter, with serious knee injuries?

Saints are being written up as a possible flag winner. GWS massively underperforming.

Pity that Hogan is out. Adds a little more interest to the game. Of course there is Preuss who I don't think I've seen since he played for Casey.

If GWS kick straight (ratio of around 80%) they might surprise.

Hopefully we're not switiching to netflix by half time

The young ruckman, Flynn, that played for GWS last week was very good. Played better than Preuss ever has. If it was my choice i'd play Flynn again

I remember watching Flynn in his first game. ( Has he been out injured? )

He will be a gun player.

The Giants all walk taller with Toby in the team (no pun intended)  He doesn't drop his head or give up and that sends a message to his team mates.  Plays for keeps.

He's a bit of a product from a bygone era but there is no denying he captures an audience  But can he not cross the line? Does he need that edge to his game in order to be at his best?  In my view, probably

The game should be a good start to the long weekend of footy ... the 4 FTA games should all get a big TV audience

Our game is quickly becoming a standout blockbuster (as long as the crowds are maintained), the ANZAC day game always has a great atmosphere and the Freo/Blues game on Saturday evening might answer a few questions

This round always makes me sad about lost loves and proud to be an Australian.

I'm sure we all share sympathy for Ukraine. How much they would like to stop the death and destruction and enjoy a simple game of sports.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres
