Rarely would one witness a game where one ruckman is so absolutely dominant but at the same time ineffectual

Off the back of what happened at the Oscars I don’t want to condone violence. But Good Crivens there are some real slappable heads at the Western Bulldogs. 

Must have been a message from HQ for the commentators to talk up Ugle-Hagan tonight...

Of course, it allows their opponent a clear 5 -  10 metre run forward.

The Dogs coaching team must think it is worth it.  I'm not so convinced.

I don’t see much difference between ceding 5-10 meters or having to stand on the mark.

Seems like a neutral trade off. 

My big fear last year was that the dogs would get this free kick treatment in the gf. So glad we smoked them and umps weren't as one sided as tonight.

I'm not sure what the cut-off point is where you are deemed to be no longer standing the mark.

I think these are standing orders for all commentators.

What a dreadful game of footy. The swans kicking id deplorable and dogs not much better. No real pressure as well.

Same with every Bulldogs game. Been happening for years. Won them a flag 6 years ago. It’s ridiculous.
