Port look like hot garbage.

I reckon they might have had a bad bye. Ours was perfect, but we seemed to have planned it to be that way.

That was a great mark ....great lead in....

Haven't you been bricking it for a month at Port's dream run to the Granny?

Where was Hannans man

Game plan for the Doggies:

  • Equal the ruck contests - check
  • Tag Allir - check
  • Murder them a the stoppage - check

Port looking tentative and 2nd to the ball

Nope. I said they’ll have a dream run to the granny. Not that I didn’t wanna play them. Dogs have the only midfield in the competition that is better than ours.

History suggests game over folks!   We will be playing the Doggies

Where's the pressure Port ?

Port mids still sleeping in their own beds. Where's Wines and Boak?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
