From memory MCC/MFC Premium membership is $229 which you have to have in order to then buy the extra $150 for the GFG.

According to The Age 12,000 tickets will be available to each clubs members.

Gday chasing barcodes for Perth gf if they make it. Im an Eagles fan but also a Perth Demons fan in the WAFL so also have a soft spot for Melb. The Perth Dees haven't won since 1977 so would love to see the other Dees win the big one. Happy to send beers your way for the big day if you can help me out.

Cheers Bushe

Gotta love every Western Australian and his dog feeding off the carcass of every Melbournian who's stuck in lockdown.

I paid $225 for MFC/MCC Premium at the start of the year and then tucked on GFG in June for $229 - So not sure what has happened here.

I’m from Perth but have my own GF guarantee. This is why I’m not sure it is a great idea to hand over barcodes. Members like myself and my wife who have been priority 1 for many years will then be competing with the hangers on

So what benefits does MCC/MFC Premium give you to start with.

Absolutely no upside in handing over a bar code unless you have a family or a friend in Perth. I wouldn’t hand over a bar code to some internet random.

Plus people in Perth have had the opportunity to purchase a GF guarantee membership which went on sale recently.

Hey guys, bit of a long shot. Got access to Gf tickets? Unable to make it? Hate Wce? Don’t want to give scalpers access to tickets? I’m Alastair a die hard Freo member. My family and I are willing to buy the merchandise and support the mighty Dees on Gf like they are our own. Only issue is currently 10k tickets to general public in WA. So thought what can I do to give my family the best shot of getting access and this is it. I can be reached via [email protected] or 0422672597 looking for 5 tickets which is even more of a issue. Pretty please Go DEES

I was told if we get through we would get emails about it on the weekend after the Prelims are finished so I assume this Sunday. The email will explain what you can do and I was told you can forward the email on to anyone you want to give it to.

Hopefully I’m looking forward to these emails on Sunday, I’ll put my hand up and say I have 4 members in my household all long term members but should we go through I will be happy to use  2 more members barcodes if available for my brother and nephew to attend, with us.  They are both long suffering Freo members but on board for September and heading to the Prelim with us tomorrow decked out in Red and Blue

That really is disgraceful.

Most of 53k melb members are in vic cant go , only wa  sa qld supporters could go and those melb members giving their codes to wa friends family.. PA members only side likely to buy 12k . There will be lots of ga tickets available ..

I bought  airline tickets 7 weeks ago thinking gf would be in perth. I and many others are resolved to the fact that if we make it , it will be seen sat night  on a tv by oneself . ( unless we are allowed 5 visitors in the house

Hey all, thought i'd shoot my shot through here!

Long suffering Demon fan since moving to Perth in 2006. Was fortunate enough to have someone kindly let me use their barcode the last time we had a final in Perth (ouch) and would love to have the opportunity again for the Grand Final assuming we get there. Already got a ticket sorted for tomorrow night but would feel like an absolute fool if I missed the opportunity to see the Dees play a Grand Final in my home town

Flick me an email at [email protected] or a message on 0497 817 016 - would be forever appreciative of the DemonLand family!

My family and are Dees supports and I have been a member for over 22 years. We hold a Cat 2 Interstate Family Membership as we live in Perth. If we do win against Geelong happy to negotiate with Melbourne based members to receive GF Tickets if unable to attend. Happy to give my details to Joan at Western Demons (Perth Based Supporter Group), as to ensure it is legitimate.

Go Dee's !

Its great we get first preference over the second team.  My worry (Besides the bloody cost!) is I have 1 GFG tickets and 5 priority 2 tickets in the immediate family (family membership).  If I get more than my GFG 1 ticket, how do we get to sit together as the others being my kids 12,9 and maybe the wife (not a footy person)?  Do they release all the tickets together that have been allocated?

Update: Spoke to the club, they expect 12,000 tickets to be allocated to us. I would need to wait for 11am and hope their are seats left for me to buy with my kids if we allocated some. Which is no ideal as I fear I may miss out on even 1 seat.  So if we win, if anyone in lockdown have spare GFG that they cannot use maybe contact me to chat about it over the weekend. (Also the conversation in our house is how much we will pay for the kids to go at the listed prices for category 1)

Hi All,

I am reaching out to see if anyone has any barcodes (only really need 2) for the grand final potentially if the demons get up tomorrow night (which I'll be attending). Not going to pretend to be a mad demons supporter as I am a WCE man but the demons always have a soft spot with me and I've already picked out my guernsey im buying from Jim Kidd for the next two games as I think its long due to break the drought! But I can promise if you entrust me with the barcodes I will be facetiming you as they lift the cup and would mean the world to go watch a grand final in our home state with my dad.

Either way I'll be backing your boys to go all the way and hope to see them lift that cup.

I would be careful - we have been told we can share PF barcodes, but as I understand it, GFG are not transferrable.  I would wait until we get the email from the club (should we win) that outlines how this will work, and if transfer is allowed.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

Facing the very real and daunting prospect of starting the season with five straight losses, the Demons head to South Australia for the annual Gather Round, where they’ll take on the Bombers in search of their first win of the year. Who comes in, and who comes out?

  • NON-MFC: Round 05

Gather Round is here, kicking off with a Thursday night blockbuster as Adelaide faces Geelong. The Crows will be out for redemption after a controversial loss last week. Saturday starts with the Magpies taking on the Swans. Collingwood will be eager to cement their spot in the top eight, while Sydney is hot on their heels. In the Barossa Valley, two rising sides go head-to-head in a fascinating battle to prove they're the real deal. Later, Carlton and West Coast face off at Adelaide Oval, both desperate to notch their first win of the season. The action then shifts to Norwood, where the undefeated Lions will aim to keep their streak alive against the Bulldogs. Sunday’s games begin in the Barossa with Richmond up against Fremantle. In Norwood, the Saints will be looking to take a scalp when they come up against the Giants. The round concludes with a fiery rematch of last year's semi-final, as the Hawks seek revenge for their narrow loss to Port Adelaide. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?

  • CASEY: Geelong

There was a time in the second quarter of the game at the Cattery on Friday afternoon when the Casey Demons threatened to take the game apart against the Cats. The Demons had been well on top early but were struggling to convert their ascendancy over the ground until Tom Fullarton’s burst of three goals in the space of eight minutes on the way to a five goal haul and his best game for the club since arriving from Brisbane at the end of 2023. He was leading, marking and otherwise giving his opponents a merry dance as Casey grabbed a three goal lead in the blink of an eye. Fullarton has now kicked ten goals in Casey’s three matches and, with Melbourne’s forward conversion woes, he is definitely in with a chance to get his first game with the club in next week’s Gather Round in Adelaide. Despite the tall forward’s efforts - he finished with 19 disposals and eight marks and had four hit outs as back up to Will Verrall in the second half - it wasn’t enough as Geelong reigned in the lead through persistent attacks and eventually clawed their way to the lead early in the last and held it till they achieved the end aim of victory.

  • REPORT: Geelong

I was disappointed to hear Goody say at his post match presser after the team’s 39 point defeat against Geelong that "we're getting high quality entry, just poor execution" because Melbourne’s problems extend far beyond that after its 0 - 4 start to the 2025 football season. There are clearly problems with poor execution, some of which were evident well before the current season and were in play when the Demons met the Cats in early May last year and beat them in a near top-of-the-table clash that saw both sides sitting comfortably in the top four after round eight. Since that game, the Demons’ performances have been positively Third World with only five wins in 19 games with a no longer majestic midfield and a dysfunctional forward line that has become too easy for opposing coaches to counter. This is an area of their game that is currently being played out as if they were all completely panic-stricken.

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
