Should have been on a plane yesterday with the Hawks to Cairns*

*Which has absolutely nothing do with me currently being in said location ;)

You'd have to think it's close to 0% of a chance we play this game in Darwin.

Presumably will end up at Metricon.

Weirdly I read that as Melton.

That's be us if we merged with Carlton.  ?

NT closed its border to Vic so unless we go to Qld today the Darwin game won't be on.

Silver lining.

More than happy not to play in Darwin next week.

Queensland also closing its border to Vic so the question is where will we play?

If the game gets cancelled then I think maybe the team that's highest on the ladder should get the 4 points.

Simple - back at the G. With suns coming down to isolate in a bubble

afl clubs generally have special exemption conditions with states, and as our numbers are still low those exemptions should stay,

if things get worse in vic, all bets off

I'm 20km down the road from Kardinia Park, although I doubt spectators will be allowed.

It would be handy prep for our Cats game to play there.

Both MCG and Marvel occupied Sat and Sunday, and the Dogs v Crows in Ballarat.

Tassie the only other option altho' it could well close also.

NSW will take anyone.

Meet halfway. There'll be a Bunnings open somewhere in Sydney. We can play in the car park

I hear Wembley Stadium is available Doc. Imagine the fans reaction when we actually get awarded a score for hitting the post.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
