CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Carlton

Trac was on the Gary and Tim show earlier in the week for a 10 min segment. The corky was never mentioned. After the segment finished a few texts alerted Gary to the corky (he hadn't known). Said he asked Trac off air if it was an issue and apparently Trac said it wasn't even worth mentioning. Not an issue at all.

Unless there's been a deterioration during the week i can't see why he wouldn't play. Would @Yokozuna have any intel?

Atleast Goodwin rarely complains about the umpiring. Alot of other coaches do.

Stkilda coach Ratten almost started crying last night during a 3 minute whinge to the press about his players not being rewarded for good tackling. I think kicking 0-7 in first q tr may also have something to do with it.They wont go far with him at the helm.

Agree with all that you are saying...but Ratten had a fair point. I watched a bit of the game last night and in the second quarter there was approximately 2 minutes of play when the Saints should have been rewarded maybe 5 times for holding the ball or incorrect disposal...the umpiring was a joke

Considering Melksham is in the back of that centre bounce drill think it's safe to say he won't be dropped ?

Was it Melksham who lifted up Jones at the end of his 300th game? If it was he certainly understands politics.LOL

He's obviously doing Ok in the eyes of the selectors. I like having two ex Essendon players in the team. They love winning. You wouldnt want to mess with Hibberd. Both players should be lock ins.

I will be polite and say I will remember to have never read that post.

Hate when I see him go in there, don’t think I’ve seen him do anything useful at any of the centre bounces he’s attended all year unlike Pickett who often creates some chaos.

Video is not playing for me on this site but here is your Tweet.

Footage of him jogging backwards at half pace isn't the most convincing evidence of moving freely, but it's a positive he's out there.

I was at the Captain's Run this morning. Not only did Trac train, he looked completely unimpeded, ran at full pace and looked sharp. He did every drill and there was no sign of any limp. From what I saw in the first 30 minutes there is no way in the world he is not playing.

I think we will have to put gus in there.

No bring Sparrow in and give him a go.
Can always make changes during the game.

PLEASE this incessant fantasy with Tmac on the wing is ridiculous.

Its almost getting fans thinking of ways to change the team structure to get him there.

In case any one is under the delusion that we could move a Tmac full time to the wing and succeed they do  not understand the logic of team balance or placing players in their best positions.

Yes a player can be moved during a game and Tmac performed that role vs North in Hobart and played on the backline in place of Tommo. Great result and he could be a Harry McKay opponent at some stage on Sunday  with Petty being moved to CHF.

Our forward line needs Tmac at his best as he kicks straight is mobile and is a team player above all else. He's playing  just fine and when it's Not broke don't try and fix it.

For those in the "Tommy for Wing" club yes he played about 5 mins a game starting  there to get him mobile fir his forward starring role in 2018. Far different than wanting him to line up there and run all day. The team needs pace on the wing and I am perfectly happy with Angus performing that role until say Fraser Rosman or one if the other players earns a game in that position.

Leave Tommy be the leader of our forward line and his work  ethic and Bulk plus clunk marking are proving priceless to our improvement and form in 2021.

Well put dl4e exactly the response such c..p deserves.

Garbo also gives a very good response to Jake in the centre bounce!!!

Baker, Chandler and obviously Weid were the players from outside the 22 last week who trained this morning with the main group.

Chandler deserves a chance but Baker no.

I often wonder how Salem would go in the middle. I know hes probably too valuable in his role at present but I reckon he would go gangbusters.

I agree but he is so good now at almost being another mid by the way he plays I just think  keep him On HB and let him run. Of course never rule out a chance if needed to join the mid group in the centre or forward line.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
