We really need to win some ball out of the middle. We are not playing that part of the game smart right now and Swans are getting the clearance. Grit it out and take the simple option stop playing cute.

He’s been far from our worst - 15 possessions, 10 contested.

Not saying that he was bad. Thought he came out harder after the head hit.

Like what Williams does to get them up.

God l wish Fritsch got suspended, he has been absolutely pathetic

I’m so annoyed about Fritsch kicking into the man on the mark.

I’m furious.

It should NEVER happen.

Lazy and not focussed.

I’m concerned with the movement through the middle of the ground by the Swans.
That non decision where Spargo got Rampe was a shocker.
Heads down, bums up fellas. This will go to the wire.

Apart from TMacc, May, Langdon and Lever everyone else is struggling. Oliver and Tracc getting possessions but their delivery is all over the place, getting caught, coughing it up. Need a big last quarter!

Keep the ball away from Lloyd and mills and we’ll win

We can run over the top of them

Hes a kicked a goal but why is there just so much love for melksham?

9 possies.

Hes a passenger.

Just once has he starred in a game thats all and got some votes?

Be honest folks.

He'll have to turn it on in this last quarter for mine.  Viney for Melk when fit and ready is the obvious in/out at this stage.

Wishing we had a fit Marty Hore for Petty also.

Tracc needs to learn that ballistic is good at the start...but not necessarily at the end of a possession.  Find some more finesse and tale it to the next level son.  Especially coming inside 50

I would have rather Fritta cop his 1 week suspension if we knew he was going to dish up this [censored]. At least a Sparrow or Chandler would have actually chased or tackled.

Soft as [censored].

16:38min 3rd Quarter - May and Buddy wrestle, end with Franklin on the ground, (with a small assist from Lever) love it.

I am deeply in love with Langdon, Tmac needs another contract, Trac working his way into the game.

Cameron Ling is seriously a weirdo.

Win a centre clearance FFS

[censored] me that was Pathetic.

And Max just shrugs like it doesn’t matter. Real captain material there.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
