North have had a little purple patch where theyโ€™ve had a little control, itโ€™s got scrappy.ย

Yeah, I think they got a behind. It was tense.

We always talk about TMac but despite the amazing luxury of Jackson developing so nicely maybe he is the one who could possibly be helped by a rest and have Weid play second Ruck which o believe he does extremely well

I believe that we need to focus on our wins and stop fretting about our team structure it is going to be a very long season and we will need all of our troops to get through it and be a successful club. So enjoy our ride, who is going to want to leave now.!!!!!

Great grab Rosman

Am I crazy or does Mitch White lookย like Dean Terlich?

Feel free to answer those questions separately.

Was just thinking the same thing. Maybe weโ€™re both crazy?

Weideman is very good. But heโ€™s also very lazy. Defensive efforts are non existent. If he wants to get a senior game he needs to watch how hard Tmac works off the ball, because thatโ€™s his competition.ย

Weids is yet to sign his contract extension. ย If I was he I would not gave either. I feel itย is likely we will lose him. He is going to be offered silly dollars by a line up of other clubs. ย It could end up in a bidding war that Dees can't compete.

The weed has not done anything spectacular. Last week he was also quiet except for 2 goals in the last quarter. You can put any big man down there tonight and they would have an impact. Majak especially. The weed has been a constant disappointment when promoted. I would keep him at Casey for a little longer and get some serious mileage in his legs so he is primed, confident and ready to go. In a few weeks Tom McD might be ready for a rest.ย

I reckon Tmac can play up the ground on the wing opp Langdon and play the twin towers in Weed and Brown, alongside our 3rd forward Bailey Fritsch and pletora of smalls pickett etc Jackson can ruck rove. We can get away with being tall because Jacko is so good below his knees, Tmac has an engine and Weed can crash packs whilst Brown won't harass etc...

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, weโ€™ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binmanโ€™s Stats Files. Not because it isnโ€™t important; quite the opposite. Itโ€™s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourneโ€™s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last yearโ€™s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although itโ€™s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sundayโ€™s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to foolโ€™s gold.
