Has anyone received their email with barcode yet? I feel like I'd received earlier round emails by now but maybe I'm just paranoid at the prospect of missing Chunk's 300th.

HI Egg. The number is on your membership card just above the barcode

QR codes have nothing to do with seating location.

They are to record who is within each section of the ground. MCC, Gate 3, Gate 1... wherever. The stadium has been split into certain sections (which you can't move between) and there is a different QR depending on where you enter.

Then later, if someone gets the virus, the contact tracers can contact everyone from the same section of the ground as that person. The info is only compromised if people don't do the QR code, or enter false details.

Currently waiting in queue for AFL members. Logged on at 9:45.

Got in after 15 minutes.

Tickets sorted!

Scored 10 tickets in AFL members this morning, 6 on the wing 5 rows back and another 4 on the flank about 20 rows back

Bring it on!

Right so you go through gate 5 and then they find that someone went into gate 1 and has the virus so they don't need to contact you. But you get into the same train carriage as this person from gate 1 after the game at Richmond station ?????? I am sorry but this whole system has that many floors in it that it is a load of bovine shizen.

Managed to get Prime Position seating for the game. Much better than my regular seats. Perhaps these covid restrictions aren't so bad after all. Feels like a final. Bring on Saturday Night.

Where?

Any know what's its like in the ponsford section near the MCC?

Was thinking of going N49/50 instead of GSS N10

Sorted. N53 on deck 2 of the Northern Stand again. Back row, right next to the bar. Same bay as my regular seat. Bring on Saturday.

The top deck of the ponsford is great.

The key though is not going above AA. Its too high

Can someone help me? I have reserved seats in Bay N52. I go to Ticketek, into my barcode, enter the Melbourne allocation, click on N52, which it tells me has seats available, but when I am allocated the seats, they are on the other side of the ground! Is there any special technique on the Ticketek site to get seats in the position that you indicate?

That should be working, assuming you didn't select something else before. Once you select a bay, that's it for the session time (10 mins).

I would assume that if you actually click on N52 it will give you those seats as long as there are seats available there.

Have a close look at the tickets, in the Cats game I got two lots of tickets, 12 in all and only wanted 6, half were in the Olympic stand, where I wanted to sit and the other half were in the Southern stand.

Just check carefully to see where the tickets are when you download them to your phone.

I'm N49. The Best seats in the house in my humble opinion.

I agree! My regular tickets are in N49, but this stupid ticketek nonsense is making me move to Lower N52... I would love my regular tickets back.

Damn, I had that option. Went with N11 so im close to the bars in the Hassett Ryder rooms etc.

I did click on N52. It said there were seats available. When I clicked to except my tickets, I found the tickets allocated to me were on the other side of the ground. Is there some link that I should be using that I have missed?

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
