If the bloke is going to constantly have a crack at me then I have a right of reply I reckon.

As usual, I didn't instigate this.

you need to relax a little bit and get your humourometer checked in for a service. i can't believe you spend so much time trawling old posts to find something to criticise

no need to act like an ultracrepidarian

I don't find getting followed around on the internet, receiving email threats and constant trolling very funny tbh.

Perhaps just block my posts if you're so bothered. You were never even mentioned.

Just some of the classic hits of #ETtheTradeBreaker

Keep punching champ.

I always took his trade rumors as just  trying to create a bit of humor as I'm sure most on here do.

You had me trawling the dictionary for that last word, daisy!

I've never taken anything ET has posted as anything but serious. certainly never seen any indication that he has any humor attached to his incredible newsbreaking posts.

I can also confirm ET is the source of ALL of my information.

Well that confuses things. You’re the source of mine.

Said it before, those with good inside mail aren't posting here (probably with the exception of the good Dr)

But its all a bit of fun for s**ts and giggles, no need for anyone to take it personally.

Trade time is serious Moonshadow.

Some people think it’s a matter of life and death.

I can assure you it’s much more important than that.

I’ve got a poster of a shirtless Paul Simon on my bedroom wall.

That sounds logical

Why does that not surprise me.....

Some on here straight up copy and paste their info from others, passing it off as their own.

But at least you’re first with news.

As does everyone,

I'm glad we've settled it then.

All of Ethan's posts are jokes and he has absolutely no intel or useful information.

Thanks for clarifying for me everyone.

At this rate I'll be looking forward to trade week being over more than the rear end of the US election

Just to clarify, I wasn’t talking about ET.

Update:

I spoke to my contact again this morning and he has re-affirmed what i've already shared

  • Issac Smith will join the Dees on a 3 year deal - said announcement coming, not sure of the delay but not worried.
  • Ben Brown will join the Dees on a 4 year deal.
  • The Saints are looking at Oscar to re-enforce their Key defensive stocks. expect a straight swap for Hind should Oscar decide to nominate the Saints, otherwise it'll be a separate deal we look at.
  • I expect Tom McDonald will head to Essendon and fill a key defensive post in exchange for a token pick. although we have some interest in Brayden Ham. i think it'll be a 3rd round pick or something around there. and they'll take on most or all of his salary.
  • The Giants are actively looking for ready to go players. we're keen on their compo pick. don't rule out a surprise player being involved there. they have some interest in Vanders. but obviously Preuss also. and our future pick.
  • There is persistent interest from Fremantle (and others) in Angus Brayshaw that he's currently aware of, there is no expectation of a trade request, and no guarantee he'd be traded even if one came.
  • Plans are in place to get a long term extension in front of Oliver before round 1. all indications are they're willing to talk.
  • Some calls have been made re Christian Salem, MFC has said no.
  • James Harmes is not going anywhere, he's Melbourne through and through.
  • I can confirm now that one of the 2 players is Brodie Smith. Goody  has connections with him, Crows looking to rebuild and Goody feels he'd give us some speed and bounce off half back that we're lacking. we tried to fill that same role with Saad but it didn't pan out. he's contracted until 2021 but the crows aren't against moving him on if he'd like to chase success in the back end of his career.

  • NON-MFC: Round 12

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
