GAMEDAY: MS02 vs Hawthorn

Why are kozzi and brown not playing???

Loving Jay Lockhart's pre-season.  That was terrific play.

And that was out on the full!

No doubt we should be further ahead, and our kicking for goal continues to need some work, but we're the better side here.  Our defense is working well, our mids are on top and I feel as though we're a chance to score every time we go forward.

Can't ask too much more than that from a first term in dewy conditions.

‘Demons dominant without capitalising..’

if I only had a dollar...

Good pressure so far. Just need to capitalise on the scoreboard more.

VDB went to the Matthew Bate school of below the knees.

That made me vomit in my mouth a little.

Umps getting their one game in Launceston where the oppo gets a fair run out of the way in pre-season

Good first quarter. Tomlinson, Petracca and Brayshaw playing well.

Lockhart and Brayshaw have been great.

Welcome back skipper Gawn!

Jees, Lockhart really look like a player; always wants to take the game on and attack.  Look like a miniature Petracca.

Liking Lever down back and Oscar looks much more assured as the third tall.

TMac is looking like his old self and Gawn and Brayshaw have played themselves into the game well.

Langdon and Tomlinson will be HUGE additions this year.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
