I'll second that!  From a day that began looking so bleak on the reports front, we have been hit with an avalanche of reports!  All been eagerly digested by Yours Truly!  Thanks, guys!  VERY much appreciated!!

(The bar has now been set rather high.  Just gotta keep it up!  LOL)

Happy to have helped Vagg. Like you I have always appreciated reportsand now know how much goes into these comments.

I Will finish off by saying that I was also really delighted with the number of spectators who stayed for the whole session. Obviously a lot of demon tragics. I can't make many sessions and am unlikely to report again but can certainly vouch for the comments of the usual suspects.

Perhaps Ian who is a regular reader could add some of his thoughts as he added some great comments at the ground and anyone who attends even if only one extra point that you witnessed from your vantage point all adds to the picture. And all goes to help us isolated few feel more a of the progress.

Some absolutely fantastic training reports.

A question to the likes of @Baghdad Bob and @DeeSpencer, how do you guys view Kyle Dunkley? do you guys see him making it eventually? He intrigues me the most because he came into our system with no AFL pre season behind him and i thought he showed promise.

Training with the mids I believe?

What a leap!

Is that the ruck/goal kicking coach Stafford underneath him?

Wow!

Saty, with sports photography you'll need to take your camera off full automatic mode, use a fast shutter speed and use aperture priority mode.  Otherwise you're only hope is to fluke a good shot! :)

I believe Saty has a small point and shoot camera. I believe the blurry photos are taken at full zoom from far away. This is not a critique of the camera or the method. Keep the photos coming Saty. When I squint really hard I can imagine what going on. :P

Got there at 10:10 by which time Jones, KK, Petty, Tomlinson, Baker were finishing up.

No Spargo, no Kade Chandler as far as I could tell.

Mystery injuries of the week resolved: some silly bugger must have erected one of these at Gosh's . . .

"The Philosopher's Clone"

Some thoughts from Aaron’s  famous German philosopher Uncle Fred are particularly pertinent to Demon fans.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.

That which does not kill us makes us stronger.

Will 2020 give us meaning for all our suffering?

All who can read this are clearly not dead, but are we stronger?

Aaron’s knee did not kill him so will he live up to Freddie’s words and be stronger?

A huge thanks to all track reporters from a very cold Amsterdam.

On that note AmDam, do you know anyone in the hunt for temporary accommodation?

Next week I'm heading to south Morocco for a couple of months. Hot-weather conditioning.  :)

Just another voice of thanks for the great training reports. As an interstater I obviously can’t go watch training but even if I did I doubt I’d pick up on the detail you guys do. Awesome stuff.

I’ve seen a few calls for balance in the reports - personally at this time I’m looking for all the reasons we’re going to be awesome. Reality may or may not kick in later, and that’s fine, but it’s not what I’m interested in in the off season.

Here I was thinking you’re running an EOS1D with 600mm f/4 L lens.

Just having a joke Saty! Appreciate all your reports and photos!

Btw what's your early thoughts on Rivers?

He's a good mate of my brother so I am following him fairly closely.

Got to have a chat with him the Saturday after he was drafted and seems like a great kid.

Looks a natural footballer, to join Oliver, Dunkley and Fritsch

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
