Is there anyone out there at Goschs Paddock other than people on the way to the tennis?

Saty was suggesting in the Monday training thread that training would be tomorrow. Club website suggesting Friday morning (maybe because of the heat tomorrow?). That said, not sure there is training today...

The heat is supposed to be more extreme on Friday. The Weather Bureau is apparently now stating that Friday will be 43 degrees.

Weights session today (MFC twitter page). Interesting attire...

Fair shiner on AVB.

Every time I look at Fritter, he reminds me of a younger, brunette brother of Max Headroom.  Not sure why.  Although, I'm yet to see Max and Dermott Brereton in the same room.

I thought Sam Frost was back row third from left until I saw him back row fourth from right. Who's his doppleganger?

Stay, can you please confirm if Spargo is standing on 2 phone books or a milk crate?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, but whooz that behind... between Frosty and the man in white bucket hat ?

I think tracca is trimming down.  I hope so... because I want to see him at his best.  Weight will play a key role in his career.

It wont.

Perhaps his brother can identify the disembodied left fist at bottom right as Keilty. (At least, I think that's what it is.)

Love the idea, gotta keep training fun. Mind you T. Mac doesn't look like he's having fun.

If that photo was anything like our group family photos, it would have taken 90 minutes to take.

On 7 different cameras/phones.

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
