Line drills have finished for now and it’s in to some repeat sprints

the new players split from the main group, a couple of academy kids joining in, both solid sized lads

Bedford and Chandler have gone hat free. Sparrow the backwards visor. Jordon the regular visor. The rest with the white caps, Bradkte the only one going backwards .

From the main group Spargo, Fritsch, Wagner, Hibberd and JoelSmith are backwards cap guys

DS, you are setting a whole new training report genre.

Originality par excellence. Its a game changer.

Going to be very difficult for others to follow.

Excellent reporting as per usual @DeeSpencer

Were the rehab group just running laps? Were any of them doing ball work (of the non contact variety obviously)?

First time poster here just to say thank you to all the lads who head down to training and give guys like me information on what's happening in the off season. I just love reading all this stuff. keep up the good work fellas.

This is the gold I am looking for, thanks!

I am so pumped for next season i can barely contain myself.

Thanks to everyone who posts a Pic, Prognostication, Projection or Pisstake.

Im busy formulating my 2019 prediction to win back the crown from @Skuit , who we all know got lucky last year to win the title.

Any information posted in the training thread makes my job easier.

I think I saw all but Lever, Vanders, Oscar do ball work.

Melk and Hore who seem teamed up, as well as Hunt did kick to kick in a triangle.

Others with some kick to kick and handball stuff.

I am interested to know how they will train for the 6:6:6.  (I know the devil is in the detail, but it seems like on name alone, this system should suit the Demons?)

I would be keen to hear if we are doing specific drills for this, or if this will come much later just before JLT??

I was idly watching the History of the Eagles the other night when Glenn Frey said we are the best band in the world but need to get Joe Walsh to join to give us more balls and we will be AWESOME. I thought to myself "Steven May...".

So that's how much they think I am getting in the next contract!

Tmac appears to have put on size. Has his right elbow strapped up. Did he have an issue with this during the season?

Probably strained lifting his wallet Mr. Shadow.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • NON-MFC: Round 7

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

The Dees hit the big Friday night stage for the first and only time this season when they take on the Tigers under lights on ANZAC Eve at the G. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
