Doubt there ever was an injury.

He convenient dumping from the games would be because of other issues im guessing. The club wanted him out of the way & because of it we performed better. We wouldnt have made it as far this year is the mummies boy was sitting in the forward 50 sulking & throwing his arms up in the air when midfield missed a target by 2 inches

Massive accusation totally unsupported by evidence.

“The doc told me there was a bit of a stress over the navicular [bone], so it’s three to four weeks completely off it, and then three to four weeks in the moon boot. I’m just trying to prepare for 2019.

Did he wear a moon boot for 3-4 weeks for laughs?

He was at the BnF in a moon boot isn't he? Although he was running into Freo without one.

Freo will trade Pick 5 to GWS for Lobb & Pick 14.

Means we'll get Picks 6 & 14 for Hogan.

if 14 gets us May it's a deal.

It probably won't so that's where life becomes interesting

PS.. sorry where did Freo get pick 6 from?

Tyson's worth a mid second rounder so perhaps that's fair

Heard on the Tyson thread that Tyson has said no to GC

Well they aren’t going to give up Lachie Neale for pick 6 , on swap it and pick 5 for Hogan, Hogan would  be lucky to be worth a direct swap for Neale,  I reckon they would be very apprehensive  after the bad experience with Col as well.

I thought we were the 4th best but I'll take the free upgrade.

We played in second last game, so we must be third best....

I generally have two bags. One’s for shoes. But three is mental.

It was clearly 3 suits but to be fair after having a think about it he probably stayed in Melbourne for the week and might have had other functions to attend in Grand Final week. Can't wear the same suit twice or thrice now can he?

I'm a big advocate for the bronze medal match played as a curtain raiser before the Granny.

it could be played AFLX style

Couldn't be worse than the usual pre match entertainment

Freo made a perfectly good AFL Footballer stand out for a whole year, which probably helped his career no end, and they will not be that stupid again. He could end up on a wave to SA.......

Yeah, nah.

Once you're out of the race for first, it's all over:

The man's not an animal!!!

I'd rather play for Freo than be caught wearing the same suit twice (or thrice) over a weekend!

slight deviation but i reckon that should be old VFL

Pick 14 to May and keep Pick 6.

That's my wish anyway!

Just a quick one fellas ?

Do we have enough room to keep Hogan while picking up May ?

Alex, we don't have anything to offer for May if we keep Hogan.

Financially yes, but we’d have nothing to trade to get May. We need first rounders, presumably from the Hogan trade, to bring May across.

Just to clarify re Fyfe he was voted in as captain by the playing group, like every club what supporters think of their captain has little relevance to the players

Next year's picks ;)

After a comment from a wise man I think Mr. Hogan will be out and for less than we all think!!!!!!

To be fair there was pretty slim pickings after Pav retired.

My mail off a credible WA media personality is that the players aren't 'connecting' to Fyfes style.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
