I’m guessing the people that are going over are made up of one or more of the following groups:

1) Live with Mum and Dad - yep

2) Mortgage free  - yep

3) Kids free  -yep

) Going to have a horrid October credit card bill. - yep

I'm pretty sure there's no anti scalping laws in WA

So that being the case... Can anyone who's not using their barcodes please PM them to me and I'll happily relieve desperate WCE fans of their hard earned, and we can facilitate a profit share as required

I'll of course have to be there in site to hand over the tickets and collect the funds just to ensure it goes smoothly - BTW I only fly business class, and of course such expenses will ne deducted from the pre shared funds!

...

I jest (sort of), but I suspect newcomers to this site may be taking advantage...

Spending $700 on a return airfare puts the ticket price in perspective though. ?

True. Hoping my application with the Demon Army is successful. Those ones'might only be $65..

Heading over to Perth on my own, I understand the 50/50 split however if I choose a section and no other dees supporters select that section I’m guessing I’ll be surrounded by eagles fans.

Anyone have any ideas where to sit other than section 105 with the cheer squad.

Preferably level 2 on ground on the wing?

The surrounding pockets would be your best bet. It should automatically allocate you to a demons section anyway

I hope so! Not overly keen on a sitting in the pocket though, better than sitting amongst eagles fans I suppose

If you're that dead against it I'm sure there will be other allocated Melbourne areas.  Youll be most likely be heavily outnumbered tough. Cant imagine more than 5000 or so Melbourne fans travelling, Could be wrong though

My application was successful (and tickets were only $65 plus postage)! This is going to be fun (and something I’ve never done before in my wrapped in cotton wool MCC footballing experience)... ?

Can’t wait!

The safest bet would be to buy a ticket yourself and then either: Sell it at price to a melb fan (through dm) or head to eBay and hopefully [censored] over a eagles fan

Better yet, don’t sell it to an Eagles fan, give it to a Freo fan or leave seat empty...

I booked flights and accommodation tonight. I'm taking my 11yo son, first time I've forked out a couple grand to go interstate to see them.

My son lost faith after the St Kilda game. It took me until the Sydney game to give up hope of finals. But the last 5 weeks, wow. We've been the last 2 weeks and the joy it has brought to the whole family is amazing.

Big thanks to the wife for urging me to go.

Go Dees!!!

Hey everyone,

I've just discovered that a basic MFC / MCC membership won't be enough to let me buy a ticket through Ticketmaster 9am Monday (if this page is anything to go by anyway: https://www.mcc.org.au/my-mcc-membership/dual-membership-options/melbourne-football-club)

I've already booked a flight over so if anyone has a membership code that they're not using and could PM me it'd be amazingly appreciated. I promise I won't be using it for any GF ballot or anything as people have been mentioning above. Cheers.

You can....I’ve already had an email from club giving me my options

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood

Once again inaccuracy and inefficiency going inside 50 rears it's ugly head as the Demons suffered their second loss on the trot and their fourth loss in five games as they go down to the Pies by 38 points on Kings Birthday at the MCG.

    GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
