Quite conflicted about who I want to lose more here. West Coast look thoroughly beatable playing like this, I wouldn't hold any fears playing them at Optus in week 3. Collingwood at the G, on the other hand, not sure. Hmmmm.

Meth Coke supporters are the worst in the AFL.  What the hell is with the constant booing?

Theyve been doing it for years and still dont realize how moronic it is.

It happens when you are a one team town. Go to a soccer international and you'll see far worse

As much as I hate the filth if they can get over wet coke then good luck to them. It shows you that the eagles don't have a very good midfield. It's actually not a bad game.

Looking for a pie win, I think its better that we don't need to travel and we seem to the players to again win at the G with our pressure.

Its not that wet in Perth, so those slips are obviously from the new grass, maybe not enough depth in the roots yet?

Also torn. West Coast look more beatable.

But then, assuming we get past next week I'd love to be at the prelim and love to knock out the Filth

Kennedy is horrifically underdone, looks shocking tonight.

Just a comedy of fumbles and errors from West Coast.

But Kennedy/darling get a game under their belt plus another weeks rest would see them play much better.

At this point neither side would not stand up to our pressure (based on last night).  This game is not a intense as ours and tigers game.

I live in Adelaide I know, don’t see Adelaide teams in the same light.

Very torn in this game. Just don’t want to hear Collingwood fans up and about.

Unless you live in Western Australia or you don't go to the footy, why would you want Collingwood to lose? Don't you want to see your team live in a Prelim?

Not sure why the Eagles are still just bombing it into Kennedy after he hasn't taken a mark inside 50 all match. Such a one-dimensional attacking strategy, easily being countered by Buckley, flooding defence.

Mmmm.   A very familiar pattern that we saw far too often especially up until about 4 weeks ago.

But wouldn't be far sweeter for us to beat them than just beating the Eagles .... not many over here to gloat over.

How was that not a reversal after the late retaliation?

Never thought Id see the day where I actually wanted the Pies to win a final and get into a Prelim.

Collingwood can thank Eddie Betts for that behind.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
