Keilty had a good game, but was so close to having a great game. Got his hands to a lot of contest but dropped a few marks, however had a number of very important spoils and defensive efforts that mirrored Casey’s intensity all day.

It's a pity Casey have the week off now.

We lose some of the advantage for the Seniors of having the Twos in the Finals.

Hawthorn are lucky Box Hill came third. Now they can give players striving for firsts selection a go next week.

We can't.

At least it'll help the firsts if they get through to the GF.....fingers crossed.

Given that flogging, I presume no one in that Geelong team will be promoted to the seniors next week .  So at least we won't have to put up with BT orgasmically saying "Narkle" on Friday.

Hands up those who would be happy with a 35 point Demon lead over the Cats at half time next week.

Is that past the Chris Sullivan line?

He is in quarantine because he's sick.  That's why he didn't train.  Drunkn said all players were there.  I hope Lewis wasn't.

Great win it's amazing what can happen when a few listed AFL players join the team.

What happened to McKenna?

Great to see Hannan play well must replace JKH for the Geelong game.

A question....How can Can Casey & Port Melb have the same theme songs???

interesting... I was at Port last year and they played the Casey song which is sung to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic"  aka John Brown's Body...

That old song of Casey's wasn't bad!  (Not a patch on Grand Old Flag, mind you!)

Had an enjoyable game at casey but did get cold feet. I will touch on a few of the senior players.

Pederson was great especially up forward. Created many chances up forward with pressure.

Hunt got better as the game went on. His 3rd quarter was excellent.

Hannan was very good all game I thaught. Provided some run and takes the right option most of he time. Took a speccy in the last and I would be playing him on Friday night.

Bugg was very good in the middle. and got a lot of clearances. Again disposal was ho hum

Joel Smith played well but can't see him being picked for Friday. Played forward a lot.

Both Wagners played well.

Garlett actually laid a tackle or two and was involved with the game without being outstanding. He gets heavily tagged at vfl level.

Dec Kielty played a very solid game down back. They hardley took a mark in there forward line.

Just want to say that  Machaya ( 24 ) was brilliant. We should recruit him because he has talent to burn. Goal in last quarter was a gem. Collis played very well as well..

Something really good is brewing down at the Red and Blue. Loved seeing McKenna with a heavily bandaged/iced ankle walk up to the Casey boys after their singing of the song and patting them all on the back.

I was told every MFC player was heading down to Casey today on convey after training. (Could be wrong?) I wonder if the Geelong players are there?

Just on this, I know they were flogged and have a long trip down the highway but NOT 1 geelong player or staff member came to the after game function..... pretty poor effort I reckon

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
