Not sure why they need 4 umpires. Wouldn't it be easier to have Razor stand in the centre square for all games, calling the game all over the park from there? Maybe even hook him up to a microphone to blare out over the ground with his smart-arse remarks.

Not sure which is worse, the Dogs or the Umpires.

Definitely the Dogs. The umpires are at least doing what they're told.

Dogs to win and ruin Ports confidence completely

Port looks pretty confident to me

This game will be very hard for the Fees now

Just leave him in his car, park it on the interchange bench and go from there

Use the horn to signify a free kick and use the blinkers to show which side gets the kick

They looked good - who is going to stop Westhoff and Dixon? Westhoff is a beast. Mobile and strong and fast.

I didn't even notice Wines then saw he had 35.

On that basis, it will be tough against Port but boy we should fl0//g, and I mean fl0//g, the Bulldogs based on that game. They were hapless. The Mallanganee 4ths could have given them a shake

No mate, Mallanganee is up near Casino.

Let us not impugn the reputation of the mighty Saints.

So on the what is best for the MFC train I assume we are all hoping for a big win for the Eagles.

Good to see that there is finally a prime time TV game that is worth watching.

Getting warmer here in Kazan ... about 16 and looking forward to the match (Australia v France) tomorrow.

The stadium is almost brand new and very impressive. It has the largest LED screen in the world on its exterior.

Down at the fan fest site last night watching the opening match between Russia and Saudi Arabia. Russians were a subdued crowd but they enjoyed the big win.

A Sydney loss helps us... though I badly want the Eagles bubble to burst, I doubt they are missing the finals or even top 4 after a 10-1 start.

Tonite will be another tragic SCG congestation. Still think the weagles bubble will burst but when I don't know.

Sydney have done what we couldn’t last week.

relentless inside 50’s by WCE at one stage 15 straight and they just absorb and absorb.

thats where we need to get to.

What a terrible game.  I dont fear either of these teams.

The premiership race remains wide open.

Made a joke about this on reddit, but losing isn't that bad a thing for WCE, if they and Sydney keep a game and percentage clear of Richmond/others for the rest of the year (if Geelong win this round) then they're preventing a victorian team getting that home QF/prelim grand final path, multiplying the chances of an interstate GF. 2005/06 Deja Vu. They're [censored] otherwise. Even i'd fancy OUR chances against WCE at the G on the big stage ?

From what I’ve seen of the Dees this season we would fold under this pressure, and badly.

Bloody hell the umpires love Frankenstein

Last three minutes of third Q

- the first a dive that would make the Tiger “world best ever defender” Prancer look an honest man, followed by another real softie

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
