Anyone willing to streak on the ground just before the team runs out and hold up proceedings? #Doitforandy.

its to cold ,if you know what i mean

I would love us to slam on another 25+ goal game today. However I think the doggies might load their defence and try and keep this as close as possible.

Been in a bus for nearly 50 minutes and no where near the ground.

Will probably miss Jonesy running through the banner.

[Censored] you whoever runs the trains these days.

Gutted.

No offense but train works have been happening for a while. Always check for works and times outside peak times.

Good morning. Awake...check.        iPad....check.      Hangover....check       Hope.....check.

I’d rip the scab off another tin if I was you and just resume festivities.

Seems to be common thread going on. Spent all morning ferrying my 94 yr old mother around, which finished at the Mountain View for a 90 yr old lunch at 12:30. Saw a sign that there are Vegan nights on now.... When I recollect the Mountain View from the early eighties, this is a big sign o'the times. From Bloodhouse to Vegout.

Just got home, to watch Foxtel, Foxtel down! Off to the Elsternwick. sheesh

Where were you 60 mins ago. I go by train every week. Never had this issue. ?

Take it from a shift worker that is always affected by such replacements. For a whole week finishing at 12am, I would have had to catch a bus from North Melb to Essendon. Added more than an hour to what is otherwise a 20 minute trip. After the first night I took the tram.

I’m sure you would do it if you were in Melbourne, Ethan.

Eddie commentating again means he'll be barracking for the Bulldogs.

Thankfully Garry is in there to even things up.

Mayby at half time.

Planning to listen to the game on the AFL app.  Hopefully I can stay awake...nearly midnight here.

Bulldogs flooding our forward line. They’ve come to play so far.

Ray Chamberlain is a spud.

Razor giving them an armchair ride.

Soft.

Dogs have kicked the first two.  Not worried in the slightest.  After the smashing they took over the last week they were always going to have an early dip.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
