GAMEDAY - Round 10

Featured Replies

Poor decision to go inside there to a 2 on 1 by Salem .....easy goal to Crows

Lazy and fumbly first 5 minutes.  Need to tighten the screws and get back to what put us so far in front.

Nice kick from a rebound inside 50 from Jones finds Smithy .....goes back and slots it on a slight angle 35 out (a bit for SW)

Smith might be in his 4th game of footy, but those triceps are 300 gamers.

Great response.  The goal was set up by terrific pressure from ANB that forced the turnover.

Another really poor set of handballs then a kick. When under pressure get it in long.

Simple humidity readings can be misleading. It is a measure of what water content the air will hold at various temperatures.

For example in Melbourne at the moment the reading is almost 60%.

Being inland the relative winter humidity of Alice would be low

We had this discussion last year and yes SWYL it feels a lot more humid where you are.

We'll talk about it beofre the Darwin game I am sure

I am in Davao Southern Philippines right now and a 5 minute walk outside is enough.

Sweat just pours out, so i hope it is far more friendly in the Alice for another hour

Spargo you little jet!

PIG what a star.

Game plan working beautifully

Wow beautiful play off HB starting with Jones (on the switch release), ending with Fritsch to Hibb to Spargo....30 Out same angle as Smithy almost....Ump doesnt move!

What pick up Spargo is. Kudos to Jason Taylor and his team.

Amen to that.  Also showing why he is in the side over Garlett.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
