Just saw that Bernie escaped unscathed from that bump on Thomas.  Great stuff!

Melksham's versatility actually hindered him at Essendon and we couldn't decide either, kudos to whichever coach decided forward

No, he was unable to lock down a position consistently and was switched around because of this, not the other way around. He has admitted this in press conferences in the past so lets not rewrite history.

Careful, it could be Fev and Shane Crawford wearing wigs and lippy.

I'm not so much worried about the kiddies viewing NSFW material, it's more the damage done by exposure to f***wits like them.

The progressive expressions on Rodan's face throughout the third quarter onslaught are priceless: can't believe I had to play for this same mob in 2013.

I thought he was smiling from the third onwards. Think he was enjoying it

Lever was brilliant today

He was, but as soon as Curnow was out I knew he'd be in for a massive day.

Basically played by himself and we set up beautifully down the line and Carlton weren't ambitious or courageous enough to switch the ball, so it meant he just played anchor all day.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes against better opposition.

What a great first game to have the family there together for the first time , 2 and 4 year old and my partner until she had to bail for an event after half time .

The 2 carlton blokes behind us where loud that was ok and had been involved in some junior footy earlier that day which is a worry .

I’ll say they were watching a different game and although bad decisions were made by the umpires it wasnt every kick paid as they would have you believe.

Anyways they shut up eventually before turning on their own .

Too funny and well played demons .

Raining goals and im wondering how good this can be .

I wasn't around for the Robbie Flower royal blue days but felt there was something familiar about our new away colour scheme. It wasn't until the final quarter on the weekend when it finally clicked:

 Agree on losing Kreuzer cup

(loved watching Travis Johnston’s 42 perfect disposals)

Kreuzer never impressive to me

most of his disposals are terrible hospital handballs and kicks

Think he has a very low IQ

Who said we would have taken Kreuzer?

Cotchin would have been more the need for us back then.

Also great to see Hannan and  Fritter contribute

Tackles links and goal assists

We have a lot of Talent forward this year

These two are a little unsung but I love watching them

They will have very good seasons

Agreed, we are starting to grow in the talent stakes, slowly but surely.

Charlie Spargo - 4 games for 4 wins. What a great start to a footy career!

I don't think that is coincidence.

When has he said this, Ive never heard it, he was frozen out by Hird, perhaps he is 'player speaking' as I am told they do

Besides which I have had a few chats to people in the Club and was told what I said, we were looking as a midfielder originally, but with an oversupply, the fwd option was taken, except nobody can remember whose idea it wad

I thought it might have been the 'bluebirds'.  But we all saw them yesterday anyway.

I was having a beer with Ronald Dale when Lethal came in we all got chatting about Melksham, then Carey turns up and we were all on the same page you know.

Then Elvis came to me in my dreams and let me know that I was on the right track.

Good times.

Also in reference to people being disappointed that we are going to play in Alice and the Blues get a friday night game.... the twisted side of me says thats a great outcome. Put the spotlight VERY firmly on the blues, I can guarantee that they will not get many if any Friday night matches next year, should not have received the number that they have this year, we on the other hand just need to get on with the next game! Next years fixture will look after itself based on the teams performances this year!

A little over those in the media who are still trying to justify how we are playing by pointing to 'an incredibly soft run over the last four weeks' and that the club cannot be 'trusted' yet. You can only play who the schedule puts

$20 says they get least the same, if not more Friday games than us next year.

What a win, we have craved that type of win for years and years, makes it all worthwhile, great to sit with two of my daughters in the Ponsford stand and celebrate goal after goal, we all felt intoxicated as we walked back to the car and drove home to Doreen. Yay, Yay and Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Dee's....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a positive, we need more of this to excite young fans and hopefully bring back some of the lost younger generations, we lost a heap of kid fans over the last 10 years.

Judd is on Footy Classified and asked plenty of hard questions, really struggled to answer them about his club.

Judd then went on to say how disappointed he would be if Murphy wasn’t a 1 club player.

Hutchinson is a pig of a human.

They also brought up Tmac and his value compared to old mate from Suns.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
