Every single time. We let our opponents get a goal in the last 30 seconds. Some things never change.

I love it when we play in waves  of champagne angry football like I’ve never seen and someone finds something that annoys them. We’re a salty bunch us Dees supporters.

Oliver is a legit Brownlow chance. He looks a class above everyone else out there.

Loved his follow on collect and pass to F50!

Currently 26/1 if anyone feels like a flutter..

More than decent start but clearly the wind is helping. The Saints are overcompensating for the wind by handballing too much. We need to take that on board and get the balance right in this quarter to keep most of our lead.

I missed the start of the game so sorry if this has been covered, but I assume Tmac is being rested?

how's riewoldt going? haven't heard a mention. Who's playing on him?

Last time I saw him, he was singing Mr. Brightside and playing for Richmond.

see where you are coming from but 8 goals to 1 ..game over

8 goals to 4 ... game still very much on.

We need to put teams away when we are on top

Just because we are playing good football it doesn't mean we need to overlook any errors. We always give away a goal in the last 30 seconds. Is it great we are playing good football? Yes. It is bad we continuously give away a goal in the last 30 seconds? Yes.

I feel as though you guys expect us to never let teams score, ever.  8 goals and great footy isn't enough?  There is no pleasing some people.

Petracca is great extractor of the ball.

Yep. We need him in the midfield because of it. Oliver and Petracca are our cleanest gatherers.

Fritsch is as clear an inclusion as I've seen from a first-year player in a very long time.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

Melbourne wrapped up the AFLW home and away season with a hard-fought 14-point win over Geelong at Kardinia Park. The result secured second place on the ladder with a 9–3 record and a home qualifying final against the Brisbane Lions next week.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
