Watts has been been good. Everyone else pathetic. Where the hell is Jones???

SOFT

JUST PUT YOUR HEAD OVER THE BALL AND TACKLE THAT is ALL WE ASK!!

Your kidding  41  to 9       got one of those  days written all over it.  Go Adelaide !!

Yeah...

Collingwood on fire, but Melbourne just pathetic.

The match for the spoon is more interesting and both clubs are giving more and they are trying to lose!

Lets be honest it doesnt matter if we make finals anyway.

I want to drop max. He is taking up space.

Game over. We aren't scraping back to win this. They are getting numbers to every contest and it seems like every opportunity for us to kick a goal it's an absolute scrap, where it just lands in their laps every time they do a quick kick from the pack..

I'm disgusted. This is heart breaking. If only our players cared half as much as we do.

Our leaders have been the worst on the ground! Typical.

Geez I'm glad Collingwood have their star players out or this could be embarrassing.

FMD MELBOURNE PULL UR [censored] FINGERS OUT.

don't deserve to play finals if we don't win. West Coast are licking their lips. They know what's at stake more than us. They won't go quietly into the night like we seem to be doing

I see it but I don't believe it?  Hope the real Melbourne comes out for the second quarter!  It's a long way back!

We don't deserve to play finals still a mentality weak football club, I hope west coast win might be the kick in the guts these pretentious pricks need for next year

Fu**ing pathetic!

They're killing us at the contest, the spread,  and tackling pressure.

If I anyone says we have "too much of that type" regarding on-ballers, please cut up your membership.

Nothing is more Melbourne than being in this situation and playing a quarter like that.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
