GAMEDAY - Round 23

We can still win this.

We were completely on top of them that quarter.  Dominated, but just couldn't take our opportunities in front of goal.  They got every freakish half chance possible.

If we go down, let's go down fighting.

I've clearly run out of things to say

I actually love ANB. I reckon he's one of our absolute better players. And you can see from that goal the pride he has in the jumper. One of the first picked for mine.

Hibberd having a stinker

What is wrong with Hibberd today? This is easily his worst game for the club.

Not his fault at all

Of course it's a goal to them because this game couldn't go any better for us.

Score review [censored]

Hibbo kicking them oof.

Yep.

We're done

They look like scoring every time they go forward.

Agree with everyone.

Our leaders are pathetic as always!

Gawn and Jones stinking it up in the middle. Tom McDonald having a shocker down back. Vince and Lewis their usual ineffective selves.

And Goodwin watching on doing nothing. I'm sorry but if he can't even motivate his team to have a crack with everything on the line, then what the hell is he even doing out there?

A disgusting display from a team that is soft and gutless and enjoys drinking their own loser bath water.

Don't hold back JD .. say what you really think

Just when u think oscar cant get worse he does that.

Game over and im out.

Getting an absolute wake-up call today. I still think the experience of finals will be good for us should Adelaide win, but my god today has been soul-sucking.

What a pack of teasers.

I sm done with them.

Work rate.

3 Collingwood players at the fall of the ball.

How many do we have?

SFA.

We don't deserve finals.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
