Rumour going around that its Watts + pick 10 to Collingwood for their pick 6 to on trade to Crows.

If that happens its a 1st and 3rd round pick for Lever, which is fair IMO. (as long as he's not on $900k per year).

That would be a truly crap deal for us.  Trade Watts for a four spot upgrade?  Hell no.

Maybe Watts plus our second round pick for their first pick.  That could be a little closer to even.

Personally, I'd like to see Watts play a full season on the wing.  I think he'd be great value for us.  We're so desperate for someone who can deliver the ball properly for our forwards.

No, they need him outa there, like the dogs & stringer, us & watts. etc.

Some just hold the momentum back.

They may play well in themselves, but sometimes they just aren't team oriented onfield.

If the won't row the team boat, seeya.

Loving it that in a post about GAJ, you just can't pass up the chance to sink the boots into Watts.

Even lumping Jack together with GAJ & Stringer: "they just aren't team oriented onfield".

Brilliant campaigning.

Hi DC, yep I'm saying that's all I think we can get for him right now, a late second/early third.

I'm hearing that there's clubs that would happily pay more for him, but are slowly realising that they might not have to.

Heard that they are looking for another key forward, Hawkins needs some help.

Doug Wade is rumoured to be on the radar...could get him cheap.

Billy Brownless? Can kick it over a wheat silo.

Anyone disagree with my earlier posts.

9 goals from Cameron and Rioli in the two Prelims..

Shai Bolton kicks first two of VFL  GF and sets up 3rd.

We need another 1-2 of these small, opportunist, outside mid/forwards.

They are the X factor in all finals so far.

There is no way you would trade pick 6 for Watts and a 2nd rd pick

Needs to improve his tank but he does excite at stages.

The umpiring is deplorable, Port are getting belted. Loving the way Port plays by the way.

Have heard that we are getting Lucas Cook ( KPD), Myocek (KPD) and Brody Waddell ( Back up Ruck) from Port Melbourne for Spencer and Oliver. Got it on good account from Etihad.

Seriously! Have you ever read a more pointless article?

JESSE Hogan looks set to rebuff fresh interest from West Coast and Fremantle despite them believing he could this year return home to Perth.

The Melbourne star has returned from a post-season trip to Bali and on Friday discussed his future with manager Jason Dover.

He emerged from that meeting adamant his future lies in Melbourne despite continued conjecture.

Both clubs had believed he might again be gettable despite last year signing a contract through to 2019.

He will spend the next two weeks with family, hopeful that by the start of trade week both club and player are absolutely clear about his future.

He does not want to enter the trade period with uncertainty over his future given an already tough year.

I was just about to post the same article @wheaters31

Two things jump out to me - one is that I think we will have to deal with these sort of rumours during every trade period as they drum up articles for views.  The second is that the article itself is based on next to nothing, other than the fact both Perth clubs are keen.  We know Jesse has been extremely happy with how we have looked after him this year, and Goodwin has said we won't be trading him.

I know some might argue anything can happen, and you would be right, but at the same time I'm pretty certain Jesse is going nowhere.

Also, the article mentions that Rory Thompson is apparently gettable as well.

If, and it's a big if, Lever somehow doesn't make it to us, would Thompson be a decent back up option?  I feel like he was in terrific form a few years back and has quietly dropped off the radar since then.

Damo on FC reporting that Hogan is gettable and that despite the contract, the Perth clubs are circling. This bloke is a [censored] stirrer. After all Hogan has been through, they just can't leave him alone. He signed his contract, now move on and leave the isue alone.

In other news, Watts to Collingwood is being touted. Oh the irony of that. He will sink in that environment

It aint just Damo, that f-wit Hagdorn as he does every year has been pushing it for a while now.

He did the same for years with Pavlich back to Adelaide (the city) rumours till he finally gave in.

Hope we have a similar outcome with a Premiership thrown in

He said the WA clubs believe he's gettable. Same as the article.

The club can nip this in the bud early and have him state he's not going anywhere. If not, the chatter will continue. Simple.

Already been done, no need for the club to say anything else
