The sooner the better....

in: Salem, Viney, Watts

out: Wagner, Stretch, ?

if we are serious we need our best side out there. Watts can play the Lynch link man rule on the wing. Let's be serious. We can push deep but no without our best playing

Frost is close, Hannan maybe unlucky. But watts can play his role, is a better set shot and more dangerous kick inside 50. On watts to make sure he can equal defensive pressure, he does that and it's a big upgrade for me.

As long as Wagner goes out. For anyone.

He's so far off it it's not funny. Salem's absolute worst is better.

Vince wont get suspended for that. Surely.

6 weeks.

Yep, just saw the replay. Genuine spoiling attempt going back with the flight.

Life ban.

Goodwin's comments surrounding Viney made me think he wasn't a possibility to get up against Collingwood and might be ok for finals. Did anyone else get that inclining also? Or are we just getting him cherry ripe for next weekend?

Watts and Salem have to come in

Why?

My ins would be Viney, Salem, Frost and Watts. We are unsure about Viney.

Outs would be Wagner ( disgraceful game today ), Stretch and the other 2 I am not sure of but by today maybe Harmes and Hannan.

We need our best players on the park next week.

Assuming Viney is in I'd swap him and stretch.

Salem is a clear upgrade on Wagner

i think watts may struggle to win his spot back given the form of other forwards.

Depends on how fit Viney is.

Viney and Salem for Waggner and Stretch.

Hannan stays for forward pressure.

Watts in the mix but minimal changes and I think we're better with just the 2 talls forward in Hoges and Pedo

Doubt Viney is in the frame.

Yep, this. Although Hannan has had a very quiet run of games apart from last week's last quarter cameo.

Is Bernie in any sort of trouble for the hit on Beams? Was pretty clearly going for the footy and just braced for contact. Obviously trying to spoil but was looking the other way

In: Salem, Watts, Viney (if fit)

Out: Wagner, Stretch, Hannan (if Viney fit)

Wagner is an utter liability. Stretch continued his woeful form. Hannan maybe next in line, but could be Vince / ANB.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
