Sorry missed that. have sound down cos Bruce is on.

Haven't heard it tonight, for I think the same reason as you -  presumably Broooose and BT are commentating.  Listening to radio even though internet radio is a few seconds delayed

No I am just sick of hearing it repeatedly for the last month or so.

This is getting a bit boring.

And scary.

NEWS FLASH: Ling says Josh Kennedy is a Superstar

The afl score review system reminds me of Funniest Home Videos.......FFS buy some decent goal post cams you idiots. Its not hard. You could apply to the govt for some R&D funding if you cant figure it out!!!!!!! jesus....any other sport.....na not this one!

Just remember, we smashed Adelaide in Adelaide and the Swans beat us after an unprecedented 3 consecutive 6 day breaks. All when we were impacted by injuries. We shouldn't be overawed by these 2 teams.

Mmmmm.  Now a bit more interesting.

It's a good game tonight and this is the standard.

I'd like to think that our best measures up but it would have to be our absolute best.

Lever plays like a 28yo. So cool. That 50m against him was BS. He took 6 steps back and ran forward 6. Umpire got it wrong. Gee he would be great to get.

I hate them so much.

Gives me hope though because the same bloke that set them up, set us up in our latest rebuild. They're just a few years ahead of us

Yep. Any team that wins the GF has to be at its best. Our best is bloody good. We are in the mix, don't worry ?

I don't care what others think but nowadays Franklin is one of the most overated players around. Good 1st term against a novice but his input of late has been poor. Sydney are falling down now against the crows in their forward half.

Yeah I know what you mean. For a forward that was brought into the team to score goals, surely he should be doing much better than the measley 56 he's scored to date.

Tex just took his first mark in the 3/4 just like our boy Watts.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.

  • PODCAST: Gold Coast

I’ll be away for the next few weeks, so Binman will be holding the fort for our podcasts covering the Suns, Bombers and Lions matches. As a result, there will be no live podcasts during this period, and we won’t be taking calls or voicemails. Binman will still be dipping into this thread to select a few questions to answer, while also combining the long-form Stats Files podcast with the Demonland Podcast for these shows. Your questions and comments are a huge part of what makes the podcast work, so please post anything you’d like to ask or say below and we’ll do our best to give you a shout-out on the show. Please try to keep each post focused on one specific topic or player to make podcast preparation a little easier. If you have multiple topics you’d like to raise, please put them in separate posts.
