Yawn....

How did Footscray win the Flag last year?

this team is a shell of what it was...

I've never seen Honeychurch do anything close to good.

Am I allowed to stay things like that? I'm sure he's a great bloke...

Geez the dogs get away with a lot. They throw the ball constantly.

They seriously need new categories added to the disposal stats. Throws and drops. Has Picken ever executed a correct handball?

Love watching jake lever embarrass jake stringer. That arrogant idiot is getting a footy lesson tonight.

Lever is in everything...

Dirty dog act by  Walker on Johannesen

Shoyld get a holiday

And goal should have been disallow we'd, definitely

If the logic of the head being protected is consistent then Walker is in trouble for that push on JJ.

Had a choice to do something else, ball had gone passed, and he engaged with the player resulting in concussion. I know he seemed remorseful but he definitely engaged.

Tex should go...But will he??

Let's think. Who are Adelaide playing next week?

NOTHING TO SEE

Well the thing with Tex will be that he didn't intend for JJs head to hit the post. All well and good, but how do you know Buggs intention was to connect with the head?

lol. im not watching. assuming the commentators are sticking up for him?

Dogs certainly look Gawn though.

More scoring shots but but very  unconvincing shots.

Dogs loss is a very good result for us.

Might make the Crows a bit cocky too?

That was one hell of a "premiership quarter" by the Crows.

Dog of a night for Footscray.

Surely won't be scrubbed out for that. The AFL won't countenance such an impotent player being suspended.

Although Crows form is fairly ominous. Blues ran them close. Worrying.

Just had a look at the walker hit it's an interesting 1, he chose to bump would be same if he bumped him into a fence it's dangerous and I think Tex is in trouble that had the potential of being very nasty, broken neck nasty

How do you know that?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.

Salem proved to be a valuable contributor as a reliable and solid one-on-one medium-sized defender in what was undoubtedly his most impressive season since the premiership year. He remains a highly capable rebounding option for the Demons as he approaches his 200th game at the club.
