Jones - dynamic and reliable

Viney - struggled to impose

Salem - important second half

Watts - retribution was his

Petracca - fantastic second half

Lewis - disappointingly a liability

Tyson - regularly butchered disposals

Oliver - more kicking please

Hibberd - clever but loose

Frost - continued to impress

Melksham - some important touches

Hannan - was rarely sighted

Pedersen - loved his energy

Vince - not a defender

T.McDonald - last quarter impact

O.McDonald - gradually became important

Hunt - was almost outstanding

Neal-Bullen - tried but ineffective

Bugg - provided important contesting

Garlett - great forward pressure

Jetta - courageous but loose

Harmes - was rarely noticed

Hannan here was a little underrated. He was sop important in the 3rd and 4th in pressure acts and score involvements. Won me over today.

Watts- queens birthday redemption

Hahahahaha, was waiting for the negative on Tyson. He was the ONLY mid making any difference at all in the first half and was very good in the second half. Yes a couple of his kicks didn't end up where hoped but they were quick kicks out of congestion. Glad to see you didn't disappoint with your bias on him!

Wow, my expectations are never high but that was just pi$$ poor

Agree Chris. He was really solid today.

Its amazing how sometimes we see what we want to see.

Mustn't have been watched hard to not see Hannah, he was great.

Lewis - hang up boots

Not many arguments from me. It was a thrilling win but we never really got out of first gear. Definitely not one of our best performances. Still too many blokes butchering kicks

"Melksham - some important touches"

He had 10 disposals at 40% DE.

Stats aren't the be all and end all, but cmon, he was crap today.

This was without doubt the one game when Oliver kicked more than he handballed. 15 k to 11 HB to be exact. Didnt you watch him?

Not sure about your Frost praise. Seemed to make many poor choices today especially his constant play on, often straight into oppo players.

Jetta only made one major error as well. He was very good.

Nice work Joeboy. I have always enjoyed reading this thread after a game.

Dont let the haters get you down. Call it as you see it.

Joeboy on Tyson - regular as clockwork.

Joeboy on Tyson - self in dulgent

Worse post ever we are averaging over a 100 points a game only 5 teams are averaging over 100 and that is without a key forward most weeks, with your topic it is amazing we won, reading your Post you would think we lost

I like Joeboy.  Love this thread.

But the Tyson call was absolutely and definitely incorrect.

He was a star from start to finish.  He has what a many in our team don't yet:  composure.

Look at the replay.  Decision-making A.  Execution A.  Hardness A.  His best ever game of footy IMO.

As for the others, Hannan - finds a path (with oily shoulders)

Bugg - Keeps missing chances.

Bugg was poor again. Back to Casey.

Thought Bugg was clearly ahead of Harmes today. He will have a 4-5 goal game soon. Continually gets to the right spots, and while he doesn't have the class of some others, he makes up for it with his workrate. Definitely don't think he is a long term option, but have him above Harmes/Kent/JKH at the moment.

I disgaree. His woeful kicking is a liability, not a big pressure guy either. JKH or Kent would offer more. Bernie is doing the niggle job he could possibly do.

Agree with this.

Hannan is a kid in AFL terms, and if you keep his experience in mind, he is performing magnificently at this stage.

Playing half forward with Trac, and hits a pack with a huge leap, and with aggression in the air that belies his physical size. And he has almost elite off the ground skills, very quickly getting hand/foot to ball, off the ground while surrounded.

Like Alex N.B, I am warming to him.

So many people here looking for more positive comments.

How would you be viewing it, if Colonwwod had kicked just one more goal?

Did a great job on Pendlebury and kicked important goal. Watch the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
