According to the Scoreboard, today is a Hertiage game for Casey and will wear the old Scorpions jumper rather then the Demons colours just to give everyone a heads up

Good to see the game is on ch 7.

Keen to see how Stretch plays and work out why he can't get a game in the seniors.

Trenners is slow but such good skills. Seriously plays like he is 33. I really loved the look of 64 (found out it was Maynard). Such a good size. Probably a little slower than I expected, but I find the VFL just looks so slow no matter who you are.

Wager really looks head and shoulders above. Spence looks rusty. If you asked me who is the AFL player between Fritch and Kent, I'd say Fritch because of his efforts (the goals help too). Weiderman does have second year blues but the delivery in the forward line is horrible. JOhnstone has got great pressure. I think it was something that Plapp wrote last week that its not his touches, its his pressure. You can really tell that is what he is focusing on. White is looking alright but looks VFL. Smith again looks rusty.

Stretch playing much more inside.

People who are there, is there a lot of wind? Spencer, Smith and Weid all missed from the same spot and all went to the left.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
