Saty don't blame fed up supporters, they have every right to be angry with the garbage served up in the first half by their team. It was trash.

Totally agree, but some of the posts are hilarious

Just now, leave it to deever said:

Does anyone else think we will come back only to get beaten by a point?

Then we will hear about the "JOURNEY" and "BRAND" from Goody, for the 5th time this year.

strangely enough we could still win this but somehow I do not care

This will be the feeling of the majority of supporters even if we do get up. Though we won't.

Time for the CEO and Pres to come and read the riot act to all and sundry.

Bugg actually contributed something positive, call the cops!

Goodwin should swallow his pride and get Roos in for a week or so to give his analysis of the season to date, and even address the players (assuming Roos would agree). We need to arrest this cr@p however we do it.

I switched off at half time. Have the boys mounted a spirited comeback?

Yep

I don't usually post on a gameday thread, but I'm compelled to do so.

Bugg and Wagner are bog ordinary.  Jack Trengove must truly be the pits if he can't get a game ahead of Bugg.  Billy must smell too.

Tyson has no poise under pressure.

Tom McDonald isn't a forward's a-hole.  A couple of times mid game it's worked sending him forward, but Goodwin is a slow learner if he thought it was worth trialling in a second game.

We used to be able to play some quality tempo footy, but that's now a distant past.

Having the McDonald's and Frost as your key defenders is ulcer-inducing.

We may come back and win this game, but we're a long way off being a quality football side.

I get the feeling they dring their own bathwater down at the club and Macca is expert at stating our list is the manna from heaven, but one can't help but feel they're way too satisfied with what's around the corner.  Forget the frigging corner and worry abou the next bloody contest.

Welcome to our world

Watch us run out of nrg in the 4th due to getting so far behind. Same old, same old.

Just as an FYI, what is the wind doing?

ABC radio reporting that the wind is flukey and no longer blowing down the ground.

Suns are just gearing up for a big 4th

Something has to change this week, in all seriousness.

It's fed up time...

the skills and attitude are what they were in 2012

Have we been here before..... seems familiar but as it always has an unhappy ending I have done my best to blank out the memories

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
