Rance is having a crap 5 minutes wouldn't be the 1st time he has let a kid towel him up, weitering is a genuine star would love him at the dees

Rance looks like the old Rance. It's hilarious.

Weitering is a star. Should target him for our backline. ;)

Thanks for the updates guys

Got the site, but still cant get the feed....

5 goals to 2.6 in the 3rd....Tiger wobbles?

Why the hell did we over look dusty, if we had the people running the club we do now back then I would say no chance we would have overlooked him

God knows what 'favours Dale did for Mick, but jeez Mick prolonged his career - a poor mans Jeremy Howe...

I hope Petracca is watching Martin play tonight and really strive to that level.

Very harsh on Simpson.  Many, many worse than him.  30 touches, 6 marks, 73% efficiency.

Tigers only look good as the Blues don't know what the word defence means.  Tiger fans will be crowing, but it won't last.

geez lock in martin for the 3 votes. Imagine if he did leave Richmond at the end of the season. That would set them back big time.

If you are Martin why not leave ... the Tigers are at best mid level.... clubs have to understand that unless you can deliver success it is harder to keep players.

Martin is going to cash in big time at the end of the year whether he stays or goes if he keeps that form up

You'd think Carlton last or second last and tigers bottom 4 or maybe sneaking up to 13th.

Letting the blues score 14 goals?

Bring on round 2

Yeah but they will still fancy themselves knowing we are so traditionally fragile

The trick this year is to bury the lower teams and get a deserved reputation of mental toughness

Last year Carlton had lost the previous 9 games and we were playing for a spot in finals... the rest was a disgrace !!

Well, that went about how I expected.  Carlton were a nice soft side for the Tiggers to beat up first up.  No defence to speak of, just lots of run and carry from both sides.  Martin played like a beast and I like how Rioli is developing, but really they didn't show that much against a rabble like Carlton.  Richmond drop their bundle when you put physical pressure on them, so we should have their measure comfortably.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

Melbourne wrapped up the AFLW home and away season with a hard-fought 14-point win over Geelong at Kardinia Park. The result secured second place on the ladder with a 9–3 record and a home qualifying final against the Brisbane Lions next week.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
