    Pretty lacklustre game so far, Oliver in everything but Casey just lacking class.

    Trengove's footspeed has improved but he still lacks explosiveness.

    Quarter Time and that was the Doggies quarter. However, their poor kicking is keeping Casey in the game. Bullies 2.7.19 to Scorps 2.1.13.

    We need Matt Jones' run, by my god, we cannot delist him quick enough. At this level there is no excuse for turnovers like that, but yet he consistently makes them.

    Dunn is an okay defender but his ability to rebound is almost zero.

    Time they played smart and put a small near him that could take the handpass and run.

    The days of the big kick from the back line are well and truly gone

    Footscray way too fast with their outside run.

     

    The same lack of speed and transitional thinking that affects the Dees afflicts the Scorps too.

     

    Dunn is a lovely long kick but he gets caught between pushing up to the contest and dropping back all the time, and the less said about Garland the better.

     

    Footscray look way better after one quarter.

    Im all for testing it out but Dunn ran towards him, grabbed him and completely threw him to the ground for no particular reason.

    Depends. If It makes Fottscray want to hunt heads instead of the ball then it's a good move. If it makes us want to keep going with it then it was a bad one.

    Far far too predictable & easy for the dogs to defend. Long kick or switch, nothing short and no run then kick to get over the zone.

    Yeah, it was quarter time and obviously planned. Can't give away a free so why not. Nothing wrong with it in my mind.

    Just letting Jong know he missed an easy shot and testing out his shoulder. Hopefully it fired the boys up a bit. Dunn was good that quarter. Unfortunately the midfield didn't work hard enough and got found out for speed. Going to need to close down the corridor and start getting some decent link up and actually hit targets.

    Run and gun and pressure at the breakdown will always beat the kind of waffley predictable sideways nonsense Casey are playing. Oliver knows how, otherwise it's gonna get very ugly.
