Many years ago was in Adelaide on a Basketball Carnival 

Eight of Us all over 6 ft wearing Victorian Jackets went to a game Fitzroy vs  Crows 

If Crows hadn't won doubt we would have got out of there without a punch up

Police virtually  gave us an escort out and not  because we were aggressive but Crows supporters were

belfast is a city of churches also, and i wouldn't equate port adelaide with the rest of adelaide

Went to a Dees v Crows game at Moron park about 10-11 years ago.  Sat behind the goals in the Melbourne cheersquad.  Dees got smashed, but they put on an after match function in a room on the wing somewhere.  About 200 of us needed a police escort to walk (inside the ground) from behind the goals to the function.  We (all 200 of us) were basically abused all the way around.

I also got shat on by a seagull.  They call that "good luck".  I thought it was more bad luck actually.

haha no not at all, they all were grumpy, pouty and making excuses but there wasnt really anyone so much as raising their voice let alone violence after the game last year.

I have been to many a game in Adelaide (since I live here), and I have never - ever - had a problem.

Be Loud Be Proud, but don't be a Moron and try and pick a fight and you'll be just fine.

A former work colleuge from Adelaide once told me it's not a good idea to park a car with Victorian plates at a Port game without having a compressor to pump up your tyres after the game.

If we win this game, the season will be a win.

A loss, and it will have slipped through our fingers, even though the future is so bright.

An awesome finish to the season could really speed up the rise to the top.

I've lived in Adelaide for 3 years and attended  every Demons game there without incident wearing my Dee's Jacket, Beanie and Scarf!

I've had some great fun and sang the song full voice on the way out of the ground  a few years ago when we beat Adelaide under Roo's !!

I enjoy going to the footy at Adelaide Ova, it's a great facility and it's a atmosphere , the notion that the Adelaide/Port supporters are ferals that prey on anyone in an opposition piece of clothing is just ridiculous.

We usually head back to the Lord Mebourne pub on Melbourne street for a few beverages after the game.

You'll be fine to enjoy your game people!

You haven't lived until you've sat in the middle of the Port cheer squad, cheering for the other team.

I only survived because I was with my Port supporting boyfriend.

The relationship did not survive.
