My prediction - Petracca will play an absolute blinder.

In the second half?

Been very quiet.

He's been good this year when available, surprised me haha

Is ranked No.8 this year up to this match. Had him about 28th of 36 players that played last year. Biggest improver in the team stat wise

Slightly obscure one, but loving Frost's attitude today. He's making some errors but he's taken on the backline philosophy of run at all costs and when it's mucked up he's just gone straight back about his business, no fuss, no dropping the head. Good signs for him in that way.

Matt Jones seriously looks a different player. So much cleaner with his ball use.

Leaner, stronger, smarter. Has looked good since the first pre-season game.

Hunt has 5 possessions. I think all 5 have been part of a string that led to a goal. He looked Fyfe-like kicking that goal.

Same thing happened a few weeks ago when he I was amazed he only had something like 13 possessions.

Combine those line breaking disposals with all of those defensive pressure acts, and he seems a lot more involved than his possessions suggest.

A much better quarter from Kent, but Gawn stepped up and Hunt is going to be a star. He hasn't had it lots, but he directly created two important goals in that second term.

Nathan Jones needs to stop putting team mates under pressure and kick those crucial goals.

Need more from Jesse too.

Want a big quarter from the very clean Truck.

Dawes is killing us.

In what way is he killing us? Other players have turned it over more and in more costly ways, why single out Dawes? Because it's "fashionable"?

What about Tmac's disposal?

Great analysis champ. Thought you would have spat the dummy and promised to never post again after the first quarter.

Shocking start to the quarter

Try turning it around this quarter and see if we can get a run on.

I wonder if Tex would be getting these with Chip on him instead of Tmac

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
