He's playing AFL, not farnarkling which is a much more difficult sport played in NZ.

Not for the legendary Dave Sorensen, Australia's greatest farnarkler ...

This was in the other Petracca thread but deserves an airing here. Kids got style.

Kudos to the creator of this gif.

Didn't quite link it properly

For those people who are old enough Christian reminds me of a young Ron Barassi with his strut and powerful thighs. I don't wish to put the player under pressure to emulate the great RB but if he works hard he has the talent to emulate his record as being one of MFC greats. I remember when RB started he had the talent and drive but was tried in a number of positions on the field before his role as a ruck rover at 5ft 10in which was considered short.  RB greatest asset was his drive to be the best, hopefully CP5 has that drive.

I'd like to see that second goal from front on to see clearly what he did. Anyone seen such video?

I was at the game and Trac was right in front of me when he ran on to the ball. He didn't try to pick it up, but rather fed it on to the outside of his boot (according to the radio). I'm sure they played it on the big screen behind the same goal taken from a different angle.

I love his strut and the fact that he is very, very happy with himself.

You can tell he's a basketballer with the agility in that kick. Amazing degree of difficulty made to look effortless, a bit like Garlett's freak goals every single week.

Wonder if Truck will be the Monday hero on 360 tonight?

I reckon Harmes played a better game and deserves a nod before Trac

played another good game and coming along nicely.  Needs to be aware that the low, hard, bullet pass is not always the best option.  His burst out of a crowded pack in the final quarter was incredible.

What stage of the quarter was that

Maybe around 20minutes. If have to go and watch the replay again, to see exactly.  You'll know it when you see it.  He is around/under 2-3 Bulldogs players and bursts out and forward.

It was actually the 3rd Quarter. 5.04 to go. Centre clearance just before Watts kicked the goal.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
