Just shows how spineless and pathetic the Tigers are.  They should never have been in a position to lose that one.

Yep Rance saved them once then blew it..

I was thinking it was hilarious for a moment that the Tigers had lost. I'm already regretting that. I feel a bit dirty. F-ing Collingwood.

We have a better team of footballers than Collingwood I reckon

So just maybe this year will be better  than we've imagined?

I said to my family when tigs were up by 17 that the pies will kick the last 3 and win by a point. I did predict that Cloke would kick the sealer but that was a great last quarter. That Rance free kick when Fasolo kicked his 6th was just so unnecessary when he grabbed him.

Richmond stuffed it up in the first half when they missed easy set shots. No one else to blame except themselves. Can u imagine what Dimma will say tho them. he will strip the paint off the walls. It was funny and so typical richmond.

Filthy win....

Would not have happened without that new interpretation of the deliberate out of bounds rule that was invoked finally in the last one minute! Anyone know how they adjudicate this rule now?

Have you looked at their draw yet?

It's in the Richmond thread.

I haven't but surely it's too early to say their season is over.

Cotchin 0 tackles hahah

As soft as butter. When he had that shot from 25m out directly in front early on, I said to the girlfriend: "Look at this guy. The Richmond captain. His name's Cotchin. He is an absolute choker. He will miss this." Sure enough... She said "but he's captain" and I said "of Richmond". He is endemic of Richmond Football Club. Soft, crumbling underbelly.

The first thing Grundy did after kicking the goal was to pull the hair tie out of his pony tail and run his fingers through his hair. FMD, must be the current generation....

Yes, I was getting carried away....

On a serious note when you get a chance have a look, they have a horror run. Yes Lids and Edwards didn't play but neither did Swan or Sidebottom.

Jeez, that was limp. Awful game made rich only by a big crowd and a Richmond capitulation.

That last quarter was pretty special though. Great entertainment. Could have had three goals in the first minute of the quarter too.

Cotchin has to be the most ineffectual captain going around.

38 disposals! Remember the damaging one? Me either. And zero tackles. Does metres gained count if you go sideways?

I really like Menadue and De Goey, but let me get back to laughing at Richmond. Collingwood were a hilarious supporting act too.

Welcome back football.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
