I don't mind where he goes, as long as it's not Richmond. Adding Treloar to their midfield will probably give them that last bit of oomph they need to make it into the top 4 next season and be a serious contender. Please no.

Why would anyone go to Carlton? Outside of money they would go close to having even less appeal than us.

You'd hope so. Our list definitely has more upside.

He's going to the Pies, it's been a done deal for weeks. Forget the peripheral nonsense about Richmond or... heh, Carlton.

They're even less attractive than us. Good luck, Bolton! He might land a Vince/Cross/Tyson type during his honeymoon draft but he'll struggle beyond that.

The Pies were the club pushing hardest to trade future draft picks, so it's no surprise this was on the cards.

They know that Treloar added to their midfield equals finals, thus trading their first rounder for 2016 is no loss (if it's between pick 14-18)

Robbo on 360 just mentioned that we are right into Treloar and have offered obviously a bit of cash.

But going by the way Buckley was reacting id say he was Collingwood bound.

Agree mate, Bucks tired to play that away as much as possible.

Well we couldn't have auditioned for him better than we did yesterday. What midfielder wouldn't want to kick the ball to Hogan for the next decade? :)

But I agree, I don't think he will end up anywhere else but Collingwood.

I think the Hawks will get one of Treloar or Danger. I don't think money is as a if an issue as others make out.

He is Collingwood bound no doubt after the way Buckley just carried on.

Sorry to put you on the spot dazzle, but can you give a short run down of what was said re: Treloar? Didn't get a chance to watch it. Cheers.

Well Robbo mentioned that we were obviously into Treloar and have offered a bit of money to him along with 3 other clubs.

When he tried to bait Bucks he played a pretty straight bat. Kept pestering whether Treloar had told Collingwood he wants to come and all Bucks said was he is still a GWS player and we (collingwood) are still going through our season with the exit interviews. Buckley just simply would not budge at all.

Cheers mate.

I suppose Bucks can't do more than that at the minute. Until Treloar says he wants out and nominates his destination it would be unprofessional to say more than he did. Nice to know we are at least having a crack at Treloar as well, although I feel we aren't really in contention for him.

He avoided answering the question like the plague.

If Bucks reaction is anything to go by Treloar is off to Collingwood.

Things can move pretty quickly in the player exchange market.

A week ago the Tiges were right in it as they were prepared to offer GWS 1st round picks from this year and next. Collingwood reportedly were thinking they could get away with using only their 1st rounder.

GWS want to encourage a bidding war, and we hold decent trading chips. They'd want us (along with St Kilda, Essendon and Carlton) involved in trade talks.

The Bulldogs weren't Tom Boyd's first preference, but they offered the best, most immediate path back to Victoria. Can't remember if Pickering's his manager, but he was obviously advised that the deal was too good to knock back.

All our recruiting team can do is put ourselves in the mix, offer him the best possible deal and see what happens.

The amusing part will be how Collingwood will try and justify Treloar's value after their Beam's tantrums last year.

Right back atcha Eddie.

It's the only time I've been remotely tempted to say GO Giants
