GAME DAY - Round 22

Viney's skills are putrid.

It's tradition that great ball users generally don't find their way to the MFC clint with some very good exceptions oger the decades. Never enough in the same season to put an effective team together since 2006

Daniel Cross with 38 disposals.

some good players which is good to know. just need to clear the dead wood this off season. If we do that we can be en route for finals

that's what we say at the end of every year

Grimes has been terrific in this second half. 20 touches and lots of good defensive efforts. Great stuff.

I like Grimes, he's frustrating but I think he's a good reader of the ball. Needs to eat a few steaks though, then eat some more.

Hey boys, you're 40 points down, KICK THE [censored] BALL FORWARD INSTEAD OF CHIPPING IT BACK AND FORTH IN DEFENSE!

[censored]!

Shut the fark up and call the game, Dermie!! And get a farkin haircut!

Well done Grimes

Our use of the footy is bewildering and disgusting at the same time.

2nd time Oscar Mc has done that.

FFS he got given the handball with no time and run down from behind, he got sold by Garland.

Wow thats unusual for Garland. Never normally panic handballs to a stationary target who has an opponent next to him ●_●

The disposals... its an ongoing nightmare....

Have we had a great kick since Yze?

Hair plugs won't grow back.

And the saddest thing is- this is our best performance in a month

Ben Holland

Very funny Chook.

honestly we must have dumb recruiters... All the top teams get players who can kick yet we get players with such poor kicking skills ... Those traits can be seen @ u18 level as this skill is generally set by then as it becomes a habit .. Such as kicking on both sides of the body....

Garlett's been really good. Showjng a bit of leadership too.

Hogan inexplicably standing near the centre square right then, as we bomb the ball into the forward line (and a Freo player marks it).

What the [censored] Roos?

Want us to fight this one until the end. Not let them kick away even more

i guess i was asking for too much.

Typical how we leak goals towards the end of games. Clearly none take much pride in their own performances, let alone the team's on a whole. This will end up being a 10 goal loss, so our futile resistance will count for nothing in the end...........again.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
