I heard they tried a similar "Dinner with the Scullys" but no food made it out of the kitchen..

Drinks:

The blood of Superman, served cold with Batman's testicles on top.

I can see someone being able to get blood of Superman, but who the holy hell is going to be brave enough to separate Batman from his testicles?

I've never been there, but is there a picket fence anywhere near the Bentleigh Club?

Used to be!!

only burnt offerings.

Always a top night these similar to when the ox spoke at a night there two years ago. Great opportunity to meet and mingle with other Dees fans. Can reminisce on the days of Todd and what is to follow with jack.

only burnt offerings.

Nope only the salad made it out to the diners. Burnt food is still food, you see.

I'm going!

If it's anything like last year's event with David Schwarz and Clint Bizzell you wouldn't want to miss it - even if it is a mid-week event. Last year Robbo sat with Schwarta & Bizz and talked like old friends, like the reins were off. It was all about Schwarta but it was also a very relaxed Robbo like I'd never seen before.

The Vineys are sure to be just as entertaining. I can't wait....and the best part? It's an affordable event for regular supporters, because it's about covering costs and hoping for profit in the interests of providing something for our everyday fans.

I hate the Bentleigh Club.

My wife and I are going. We went to Roosy's Pie Night at the Duke last year and had a great time. That night I told Roosy to consider drafting a kid called Caleb Daniel. He didn't know who he was and when he asked how tall he was (I said 168cm) he just laughed. This time I might ask Todd if he is aware of a mature age kid called Jack Geary from Golden Square. Rick Ladson (ex-Hawk) has been pushing this guy up for some time.

Built like a brick outhouse Theo. Look forward to hearing Roos' reply to your suggestion.

Could be the midfield size Roosy is looking for a little like Trenners version 2 - Vandenberg

Did you end up asking about Geary?

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
