Couldn't find this weeks match preview thread, so thought i'd create one. Feel free to merge it with the D'land one that pops up.

Not being witty enough (without posting a gif) to write an engaging preview for the match in comparison to the D'land crew who do it every week, i thought i'd post Titus O'Reilly's; a demon supporter and satirical journalist who behind the satire usually hides a hell of a lot of truth:

Melbourne vs. Collingwood (MCG) 3.20pm

When you think blockbusters in sport, surely the Queen’s Birthday Clash is right up there with playing your mate at FIFA.

Last week, Melbourne showed they can still give up with the best of them, in a disgraceful display in Alice Springs. Despite being a Melbourne fan, I’ve found tipping against them a wonderful strategy.

In fact, it’s because I’m a Melbourne fan and having watched them play is why I tip against them. Occasionally someone nice opposition fan, pity in their eyes, will say ‘you guys will improve’ but we won’t and we don’t.

It’s no different here. The fact this is on the MCG is the only thing that gives Melbourne any chance.

Collingwood are developing some very good young talent and work habits and they didn’t have to bottom out for eight years and counting to do it.

Still, this game holds a fair bit of interest with Heritier Lumumba facing off against his old side.

I’m sure the Collingwood faithful will welcome the chance to see ‘the Prince’ in action once more. They’re good like that Pies fans.

I hope melbourne fans turn up in numbers. Not only to support the boys but also to support Neale Daniher and get a good laugh when the celebs go down the ice slide.

I just feel Jesse will set himself for this and will love the big crowd.

Just hope its better than last years game.

No idea how this will go. Melbourne paying $3.50. About right. Not impossible, but no one has faith in Melbourne to turn up.

Last year's game was okay until the 4th. We kept them close and stopped their run, they got a few in a row and it was game over.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership.
