Jesse is ours to lose, we must keep our house in order! Talents such as his don't wallow in sad loser clubs, and he knows it.

Wins and improvement and he's ours for life. Balls in your court, MFC

The one I want him to win is the Norm Smith!

Yeah, but as long as it's for us.

On the news tonight when they were saying about his future he was saying all the right things, but I have never felt as nervous to re-sign someone. I will cry if he leaves, but at the moment it isnt an issue. We have to create a wining culture for him to stay and at least we are stable on field with the coaches.

Id doubt PJ will let him go either.

There is no doubt that if we don't improve and he can't see himself winning a flag here, that he will leave. He's too good to waste his time at a bottom feeder club, and will earn bucket loads no matter where he goes.

If we don't get our [censored] together, he will leave, and supporters will follow him. Fair to say that losing Hogan could be the final straw for most supporters. It will probably be for me.

The RS nomination is perhaps nice, but pretty meaningless to me. The one I want him to win is the Norm Smith!

Only fair that Brayshaw gets the Norm Smith after Hogan gets the Rising Star.

Sharing is caring.

If he wants to leave he has to be traded.

If Fremantle want him they simply have to give us Fyfe.

We're dating the hottest girl in class- stop thinking she's gonna dump you and enjoy her while she's yours!

Jesse loves melbourne, got homesick while injured and the club flew him home multiple times, but as I've said many times, our young core is strong and close and he loves the club, keep improving and keep jesse, he already knocked back a monster deal from the fockers twice

I thought the way they made an interview that to me looked like him reenforcing his loyalty was a bit of a stitch up to get attention

Fair call. If they can raffle the Norm Smith between them, then I will be happy.

“I’d like to think..but you never know....At this stage..at the moment.”

No issue with that. The guy's 20 and wants to avoid saying something that may come back to bite him in 10 years time. It's cliche but you just don't know what's going to happen or how you're going to feel about the club, your financial position, or life in general so far in the future.

Financially I'm pretty sure he's set to become a millionaire before he's 23.

We should all be so lucky!

No, they don't. They make them better.

I accept times and employment have changed and I also accept we're talking about the MFC, but all things considered I'm not worried in the slightest about Hogan. These types of individuals tend to know their place in history and build clubs around them and not vice versa,

...and if he's ever in doubt he just needs to look to Freo and at Pav to see what you can do as a one club champion.

Money is not the issue, we can pay him a million a year +++ no worries...

Its going to come down to whether he wants to go back West to win flags...

Who knows? Farmer went back...

didn't win a flag though, Freo's window is open for 1-2 years then they'll slide down, very old list

What I like about him is the following:

Seems to genuinely love playing footy

Works so hard

Is a natural aggressor and footy player not just an athlete

Show strong natural leadership

Shame we don't have a few more with the same attitude and desire for the contest

MFC have handled him very well so far. avoided publicity as much as possible with signing him up early. managed his injuries conservatively

Jesse would be thinking in 2-3 years of Viney, Salem, Tyson, Petracca, Brayshaw, Stretch serving goals up to him on a platter.

Sign him up for 12 years! I'll put in a few bob if it helps!

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
