Whispering_Jack 31,368 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Are they showing repeats of previous Carlton Friday night games on TV or is what I'm seeing live?
Lucifers Hero 40,733 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I saw the pre game interview with MM and he looked and sounded completely shot. There was not one iota of confidence in anything he said. There wasn't even any sense of any hope in his team or the game. Whatever his faults its a bit sad to see a doyen of the game go out this way.
SaberFang 7,151 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The irony of Carlton being gifted so many Friday nights, only to suck so horrendously, is not lost on me. It's made their life an absolute misery being in the spotlight every week instead of being shunted to Sunday afternoon slots like us.
Straight Sets Simon 23,113 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Who gave Melbourne Carlton jumpers?
Deetective Sgt. Taggert 389 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The irony of Carlton being gifted so many Friday nights, only to suck so horrendously, is not lost on me. It's made their life an absolute misery being in the spotlight every week instead of being shunted to Sunday afternoon slots like us. At least we won ours! Makes me feel a bit better in the face of the recent shellackings...
dees189227 12,515 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 im pretty sure at half time ch7 are showing some of what Neale Daniher said to the melbourne boys today, so keep tuning in.
Deetective Sgt. Taggert 389 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Not watching the game but the scoreline is staring to get ugly in the Cats/Blues game. Is MM now on borrowed time?
ucanchoose 1,816 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Not watching the game but the scoreline is staring to get ugly in the Cats/Blues game. Is MM now on borrowed time? After the verbal diarrhea from Trigg, Mick is very much on borrowed time
Seraph 1,824 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Who replaces him? Worsfold. Only 3 more Friday night Carlton games to go! What a joke of a fixture.
Bombay Airconditioning 6,509 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Laidley replaces him(short term). He's got his record, time to go.
Bombay Airconditioning 6,509 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Worsfold. Only 3 more Friday night Carlton games to go! What a joke of a fixture. Yeah was looking at that. Lingy made a great point, 35 tackles won't cut it against Sydney.
What 18,810 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Carlton 6 Friday night games? I wonder how that happened.........
P-man 13,367 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Thank god for Carlton. They are making things seem that little bit less grim.
Bombay Airconditioning 6,509 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Apparently his binnoculars are on e-bay.
Bombay Airconditioning 6,509 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Eagles Giants Suns Swans Freo Bombers Dees Port
KingDingAling 3,758 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 MFC should chase Patrick Cripps. Go hard at this kid. He can play, positions himself well, often doesn't get it when he should.
What 18,810 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Eagles Giants Suns Swans Freo Bombers Dees Port ?
What 18,810 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 My tips mate. ah cool.. good to see u tipped the Dees
RalphiusMaximus 6,112 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Just remembered my tips weren't in yet. That means I get Carlton by default.
Lucifers Hero 40,733 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Saints catching up in the 2nd qtr. Good fightback kicked 5.2 to 1.1 in the 2nd to trail by only 12 pts Interesting to see if they can keep it going. Even if Saints don't win their fight and resilience is growing with each game.
Demon Disciple 12,537 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Would love for the Saints to knock off the Weagles. Biggest down-hill skiers in the comp at the moment, with the biggest flat-track bully in the league in Kennedy. Both have good games against weak opposition, yet go missing when they play decent teams.
SaberFang 7,151 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Saints have turned the corner this off season. Was foolish to write them off as needing another 2 wooden spoons before they'd finally get off the bottom. They play with spirit even when the chips are down and the score line looks ominous. Something entirely absent in our team, who just give up the moment they feel the game is unwinnable.
Jesse Christ 2,884 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 GWS looking scary, they will have some success, not that anyone will care.
